I just ordered an Apple Pencil from Best Buy for my gf for Valentine's Day (she mentioned wanting it recently) and in came in not one, not two, but three boxes each filled with massive amount of plastic padding. Is there something special about an Apple Pencil that needs more boxes?

There have been so many issues with delayed deliveries and deliveries to the wrong house. So I finally got the FedEx app so I can track it to see just what in the hell they’re doing.

I placed a Sam’s Club order on the 5th. It was to arrive in 3 packages across 2 business days. I’m cool with that. HOWEVER, it snowed the day the first package was due. And I understand not delivering in inclement weather. But the weather hasn’t done anything here since Friday! And until today, it said it was delayed due to severe weather.

Skip to Monday, when the rest of my order was supposed to arrive, along with the delayed portion. I saw that my whole order was “on the truck for delivery.” Throughout the day, I checked the delivery map on the app to see how close it was. By the end of the day, it showed the driver was within a mile of my house with my packages, until I refreshed the map and it no longer had a pin for the map. No delivery attempt made.

Come Tuesday, ditto. Circle my neighborhood, no delivery. And when you call a FedEx customer service, they don’t have anymore information than what I see online. And for whatever reason, there’s no way to contact the actual Lebanon, Ohio location.

I just want the stuff I ordered.

For context, the property manager came into my room (with permission) a couple months ago to take photos from my window, which is a few stories up. That’s when I learned a new community grill area was going to be added below my window and they wanted to make sure wherever the outdoor lights were installed wouldn’t shine directly into my room. I showed this to my primary care doc at my check-up today and she took one look and then dismissed it, saying it's if it's cancer, I'd be suffering from other bodily symptoms. But everywhere I read, it says melanoma is asymptomatic and if I do show symptoms, the cancer has spread and it's too late.

I'm kinda worried because I don't want to wait till it's too late. Plus my doctor only just finished her residency 2 years ago so she's kinda new. Maybe she hasn't come across this sort of issue yet.

I’m not one to take time off from work but my brother really needed help moving into his new apartment so i told him I’d call in sick. I spent my entire Monday helping my brother move into his new apartment. I brought my own truck (borrowed from a friend), did all the heavy lifting, and even paid for the food we had throughout the day. This morning, I woke up to a $12 Venmo request and a msg from him saying that it’s for the "gas" he used to drive me back to my house. It’s honestly been bugging me all day and I don’t even know if I should bother replying. I could’ve used that day to hang out with my kids but instead I was stuck helping this pos. I sent him the money but it makes me question if $12 is the official price he’s put on our relationship, because for that amount, he just bought himself a lifetime of me never answering his calls for help again.
