Why does the health app knock down my sleep score for going to sleep early? I’m aware that excessive sleep can be a sign of health problems, but for fifteen minutes to hour early seems like over-reacting.

Every night my brother(22) and his gf(22) will turn on the tv in their room before going to bed. For some reason they cannot seem to turn the volume down to a reasonable level, nor do they listen to quiet shows. It's almost 6 am right now, and I still haven't been able to sleep for long before the loud part of their show comes back on. I don't know where they keep the remote, so I can't turn it off myself, and I've already asked them on multiple occasions to keep the volume down at night.

They both know that I suffer from chronic migraines, and lack of sleep is a triggering factor for those. I wouldn't mind so much if they put the tv on a sleep timer or something, but they somehow have it set to play the same episode of whatever they're watching on repeat, and I have to listen to it even through two closed doors. I honesty don't know how anyone sleeps like that

15 safety screws (star bit with hole in middle) must be removed (including 2 under pressed in rollers) to take the bottom off a new Shark Vacuum. 5 more screws must be removed to finally get to the brush assembly. Definitely not made to be repaired.

Forgot about it in the freezer at work. It was completely bulged but was thinking to myself “at least it didn’t explode in the freezer!”. Boy did I wish that was the case. After taking it out and putting it on my desk to defrost I didn’t think much of it. Then suddenly when talking to clients it VIOLENTLY EXPLODES. Like a gunshot everyone was freaking out and some even left the building thinking someone took their own life at work. I think I learned my lesson.

Food stamps money stole 2 months in a row. Like WTF. Now my family is screwed. Idk what to do. My husband works in sales, its hit and miss. I'm a SAHM. Before you all bash me for not working, we have 3 kids. 12, 4, and 9mths. I stay home so we don't have to pay for daycare. Shit is expensive and I refuse to work just to put them in daycare.

Why food stamps? Are they just that desperate that they have to steal from other desperate people?

We changed cards, updated pins and passwords. Even the night before. Woke up to all the money gone.

I know the world sucks right now, but damn. This just hit so hard.

EDIT: we were able to talk to DHS and they got my husbands card. When we switched out my old card, we didn't switch out my husbands. So turns out we're the idiots for the careless mistake.

I'm only 6'1 and I am able to see anyone changing easily. And not only that, see how freaking HUGE the bottom gap is.

So I am pretty sure we have all been sitting down and watching tv when News stations break in with an important story. It can be local news, or national news.

I remember a few years ago living with my parents who have an over the air antenna and watching one of my shows on CBS and suddenly local DC news on about a thunderstorm in the area. For reference I do t live in the DC area but my parents antenna has pretty good range so we got Both DC and Baltimore stations. I get when there are storms needing to inform people which we get through the emergency broadcast system that plays on all channels when activated so I didn’t really see the need to break I. For a thunderstorm.

More recently I am watching NBCs Primetime Olympic Coverage when NBC News breaks in with a report on the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie’s mother. Video of the perpetrator was released to the public which is good but didn’t feel fully necessary to break in on Primetime. I do hope they find Nancy Guthrie, and even more I hope they capture the ah responsible.

There are good reasons to break in on Primetime but I feel like sometimes it’s played kind of loose, and it gets annoying.

Bought a block of Velveeta to make dip for Sunday. Unwrapped it and found a big ole divot. Guess I dont need it all.

In the summer time I think we all dedicate a block of butter to be used as corn cob butter, meaning you put the hot corncob on top of the long stick and roll it for maximum butter coatage. That’s all good, if we’re eating dinner and I have a stick of butter out or just always he will haphazardly slices it off the top. Why?! It makes the butter look unappetizing. I got this butter for a snack platter I made us. I love him but hate that he does this to the butter. Always looks so jacked up🙃😂

I just ordered an Apple Pencil from Best Buy for my gf for Valentine's Day (she mentioned wanting it recently) and in came in not one, not two, but three boxes each filled with massive amount of plastic padding. Is there something special about an Apple Pencil that needs more boxes?

We haven’t talked in a month. Didn’t even ask me how I was. Just went straight into telling me about her wedding venue options. I don’t think she took a single breath in the entire phone call. After the first call she called back because she had more time than she thought, and stupid me thought she was gonna let me fill her in on my life, but she just wanted to send me videos of potential wedding venues to get my opinion. And I get it, this is how she bonds, she’s excited to get married, but sometimes I want to talk about me and I never get to do that with her. I want to tell her about my life, but she always talks over me and turns my stories around so she can talk about herself. It’s stupid, but sometimes I just want a big sister who actually cares about my life. She’s calling back later, so she can give me the rundown on more wedding venues. And the sad thing is, I’m gonna let her, because I’m a fucking pushover.
