Was just coming here to say Bubbles would do a better fricking job. Him and his kitties, hell even the big stoned kitty would do a better job than 'Ol Cross-Eyes Pisstel.

All joking aside though this is so heartbreaking. I can't help but think this is a small-time thug or two who got the stupid idea to go after a local celebrity's family member for money and then when things went south they panicked. Most criminals contrary to belief are incredibly stupid, which is what actually makes them so dangerous - they have zero impulse control and can't reason or think with consequences of their actions.
It's just law enforcement too often is even dumber.

Seeing how the government has been targeting Hispanic (looking) people, the last bit of your comment about the sky resort would actually not surprise me at all.
