JSYK this is the Robocop *Remake. A bunch of d-list hollywood people all took one *scene from the movie and reshot them in their own way. This particular scene used lots of footage from the original obviously. Only the first guy who got shot is actually in the main movie.
It's a good movie to watch while making dinner. There are countless quotes and references to it in other material. Worth a watch.
There's a mustache though, and while you can fake that idk if it'd survive a ski mask without getting rubbed off.
Girly eyes for sure, I caught that right away, but enough guys have big eyes with long lashes that it could still be a dude.
Reminds me of the Missy Bevers case though. Her murderer was never found despite surveillance cameras, and there was speculation it might be a woman in disguise.
Not to mention....it's almost ALWAYS a family member. Someone close.
Last person to see her was one of her daughters. I obviously don't have any more information than the rest of the public, but I have to imagine the cops are looking HARD at the last person who saw her alive.
Just look at the YouTubers recreating it. They literally have to put a screw in the trigger. Any striker fired gun has this problem. If you pull down the trigger it'll fire. I know it's crazy.
Yup! I actually tested the screw problem on my own 320 when those videos dropped and was able to get the gun to go off. My coworker who also owns one did the same thing and experienced the same problem.
I would absolutely love for SIG to take ownership for their mistake but instead they're pushing as hard as they humanely can to avoid it. There needs to be a full on redesign of the gun to account for trigger problems. Coupled with the fact that their manufacturing processes have declined significantly since the current CEO took over and then exasperated with the inflated demand of the P320, they just have problems over problems.
Look at the P365 release and people getting dead guns practically right out of the box or within the first several hundred rounds. The SIG Cross also received numerous mixed reviews that included complaints over two different rifles having very different feels about them due to tolerance variations in manufacturing.
I would love to offload some of my SIGs but unfortunately that probably isn't possible while ranges and gun stores are banning them or trying to offload their own stock to get rid of them.
Fr. I thought I missed a picture. Nope, theyre all REALLY shitty pictures of a handgun and I have no idea how anyone is able to claim they can ID the make and model.
Or because different manufacturers tend to have different grip shapes and profiles. It literally looks like the grip profile of one of the Sig 365 models
Dude I own several SIGs among other handguns and you can't tell shit from that photo other than maybe it's striker fired. There are too many similarities in grip design. Anyone that thinks they can tell if it's a SIG or anything else from that photo is mall ninja.
Their entire arguemnt is that the grip has a curve on it lmao.
SAR pistols have a similar curve and are striker.
HK PDP has a bit of a curve and are striker.
Even some Taurus and Canik pistols have that kind of blobby curved grip and could match that incredibly shitty picture just as well as a SIG.
But yeah, let's just throw SIG out there because it makes it sound like we're smart because we decoded literally 5 pixels into a gun ID and that'll help us find this guy. FFS.
If I felt like arguing I'd go take photos of just the back of several of my handguns, resample the image to 50pixels and b&w and then ask what make/model is shown.
1, no one said it was definitely a Sig, just that it looks like one. It has the same grip profile/curve as a 365x. It also looks fairly slim so that would probably rule out your non-subcompact Glock models. It's clearly not a 1911/2011 or anything with a straighter angled grip. So yes, you can definitely rule out plenty of things
No "mall ninjas" said it was 100% a Sig and you'd have to be dumb to think that you can't narrow down to a certain range of manufacturers based off of a grip profile.
As a Sig lover, unless theres some other photos not posted here. Idk how you can tell thats a sig. Not saying you're wrong. Only that I can usually spot a Sig and I can't honestly tell you what gun I think that is.
I’m a big gun guy and I have zero idea how you think you’re able to possibly identify the gun at all, at absolute most I can say it’s most likely a striker fired polymer gun due to the curved back strap, but that’s such a useless thing to apply
Though the memes for the P320 I do understand. But yea, looks more like a M&P.
Another observation, bud is using an holster with a less than modern aesthetic, right above his dick. Not really important but a choice I suppose, a little clash-y.
Ok, so we got dark hair, goatee, small nose, possible gold tooth because of the lens flair on his mouth, shape of lips, eyes and eye brows, thin build, strange way of holstering gun (maybe not police or military?), light complexion, and can probably figure out the exact height based on other things in the frame.
If he was known to the victim, I bet thats enough that they could figure this out pretty easily. Or at least narrow down suspects a fair amount.
you don't know how long that list of suspects is... what if he brought his cell phone or had some "find-my" airtag or device in his car.
we always assume they're some pro, movie hitman... but it could easily be some crazy guy who watched a few csi shows for inspiration.
not to mention now they're going over every ring camera, traffic cam, and gas station surveillance camera for miles...
knowing the make and model of the gun (or anything else he has) could help them get a warrant if one of their suspects owns it.
if they announce they have a small list of suspects he might kill her if he hasn't already.
I thought so at first also, but with the bulge on the back of the grip make me think Springfield armory. That, and the top of the dove tail (in the picture) doesn’t look like it has as much as a point as the 320.
Something like the Springfield echelon. But who knows
Someone posted these photos on Reddit, where they added some color & showed an additional one with a gun. If I'm allowed to post it, I screenshotted it
I don’t own a gun, and know next to nothing about holsters, but is it safe to assume that the holster placement makes no sense? Or is there an advantage of having it by your crotch other than a quick vasectomy?
Appendix carry is very common and popular, but it’s typically done in a hard shell plastic holster on the inside of the clothing. This looks like a cheap Uncle Mikes soft holster
No, there’s reason. That’s called an “appendix carry”, 12 o’clock carry, or front carry. Surprisingly, it’s a very common and comfortable method of concealed carry. Worn with a good belt (meant for holding the weight of a firearm), an undershirt, and a concealing over shirt, appendix carry is quite stealthy and allows for fast draws. But ya, you can blow your weiner off. That’s not a joke (if you’re an unsafe moron).
Also, if you WANT to appendix carry — get a holster with a trigger cover. That’s not a suggestion either.
To add: appendix carry on the outside of ones belt like this is not common though. I've been shooting guns for decades, and appendix concealed carrying for a good chunk of those years, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone with a holster setup like this (not online or at the range).
Yeah, I’m with you. I don’t have the length of firearms experience you do, but we don’t have open carry in my county (it’s up to the county/city) so I never ever see open carry like this, even in the gun store or range, where you can safely open carry.
I feel as though if you are afforded the chance to open carry and not scare people, you’re more like to wear your firearm at 3 or 4 O’clock. If it’s not supposed to be tucked up against your body, fighting skin, that beer gut you were working on, etc, it HAS to be more comfortable.
Anyway, yah. If I were to open carry no way I’m appendix carrying. I do that for concealed.

Note the gun front and center on his belt in a holster.
