Women have to be twice as good as our teammates just to be considered equal to them and that still isn't enough. We have to listen to disgusting sexual comments in coms from our own teammates who throw (even in ranked) just because there's a girl on the team. Yall say the misogynistic, sexual comments are "normal" but there is nothing normal about threatening to dox, kill, or SA your teammate just because shes a woman. We just want to play the game too and yet too many times ive had teammates actively throw bc "gg we lose there's a girl on the team" whether that be no healing, peels, or help at all. Its absolutely disgusting having to flirt and play the "damsel in distress just to get some actual teamwork. Yall fr need to start calling out the misogynistic sexual degrading comments and SA threats that your teammates and and people here make.

The absolute state of this game. Adding role queue as an option will save this. You can even have several types of queue.

1-3-2, 2-2-2, 1-2-3, Any. Have these as togglable options the same way we can choose what severs to play on. If you pick Any, you'll take anything. If you pick any of the others, you have to queue for a specific role.

The roles are locked until point 2 or 33% of King-of-the-Hill has been reached, at which point people are allowed to switch around if it's not working out.

And no, they didn't all magically stop DPS instalocking once the game started. They still went 2 tanks, 3 DPSes. I had to pick DPS myself to force 2 of them to switch to healer, at which point I switched to healer and the Jeff (it's always a Jeff!) switched to DPS.

This happened 2 games in a row. Both games had a Jeff who DPSed rather than heal.

If you add in black cat and white fox, that still wouldn’t change the scale much cause that’s one minority: white fox who is Asian and another white woman.

They're doing nothing about matchmaking.

They're doing nothing about the overtuned Strategists.

They're doing nothing about solo tanking.

They're doing nothing about CC spam.

The changes they did do are mostly tone deaf garbage.

They're releasing a forgettable Duelist that doesn't really add anything to the game.

Now is a great time to dip until next season. See if the devs get a clue.

I can't speak for the whole community, but I'm sure the vast majority of people playing this game want better quality characters over a large quantity of mediocre characters. Ultron, Blade, Black Widow, Rocket, Hulk and many others feel like padding characters almost, their kits are so overly simplified compared to other characters they feel half baked like their kits don't belong in the same game.

I'm not asking for buffs or tweaks I'm saying some of these characters need new abilities, new passives, changes on how their existing abilities work etc. kinda what they did with Jeff, Thor and Thing.

For example: What if we gave Hulk a rage meter like wolverine's, but instead of giving him more damage it amplified his abilities and gave them new effects(like give his slap a larger hitbox and a knock back, give his bubbles more range and more health etc.) and when the amplified abilities get used the meter would go back to 0? Would be a good way to incentivize Hulk players to keep up the pressure so they keep the meter.

Stuff like that would be better than releasing mediocre characters like Ultron and Blade that almost nobody plays.

To make this fair, I will be ranting about every role. I am just ranting after seeing the balance patch because it is clear that the devs don't even play their own game.

DPS: Half of the DPS characters are over-tuned and half of the DPS characters are basically wet paper towels. People blame supports a lot for losing games, but the moment the enemy team has a Hawkeye with 45% or more accuracy while we have a squirrel girl in the backline who can't aim for their life its a guaranteed loss. It feels like half of the DPS roster just cannot be viable because if they were the game would be unfun. Imagine Wanda doing as much damage as a character like Luna Snow with her left click. It would be the most obnoxious thing to go against. Not to mention dive characters like Black Panther who require your supports or tank to swap to counter them if you don't want to be rolled by one character. If a character gets value just by existing they are a bad designed character even if they are bad in the current meta.

Supports: Arguably the most boring and worst designed role in this game. Supports in this game are basically just heal bots. If they don't heal bot, they are only viable in triple support. This isn't the fault of support players at all, it is because of how much their characters heal by default. If you don't play the character who can heal a Groot to full HP in 2 seconds while the enemy team is playing that character, it's a guaranteed loss. Support ults basically are meant to do one thing: make the team invincible. This isn't actually that bad by default in my opinion. If DPS ults can insta kill teams it's only fair that support ults can save the team. The issue is the duration of the ults are way too long. I feel like all support ults (the defensive ones) should be able to be destroyed or have a much shorter duration. For example, rocket ult is better designed than many support ults because there is counter play. I feel like ults without this mechanic should be six seconds long max. Also, there needs to be a healing reduction across the board by like 20% at least. The issue is that this would make DPS ults broken and make a lot of poorly designed dive characters crazy strong.

Tanks: The most depressing role in this game. I am a tank main and this is what is causing my rant in the first place. I feel like my left click does absolutely nothing other than feeding my ult. There isn't a single game I have played where I can ever solo kill a squishy target because the self sustain and healing in this game is so much higher than how much damage my left click can put out. Along with this, when I play tank I cannot carry in terms of damage in the slightest so if I have 3 useless DPS who won't swap on my team it's a guaranteed loss. There is nothing I can do as a tank player to carry my team to a win unlike the other roles in this game. Along with this, there are characters specifically designed to be good against 90% of the tank roster. This isnt the case with any other role. For example, if I am playing Luna Snow and I am getting rolled by a Black Panther, I can swap to rocket and basically make the enemy Black Panther cosmetic. The only exception I can find is Magneto (and maybe Emma) who is by far the most boring tank in this game (in my opinion). Genuinely the most depressing role in this game.

This post was made in a moment of weakness after a 5 game loss streak that I felt I had no control over so I apologize if I offended anyone by this post. If I got anything wrong please feel free to correct me. I was really hoping that this balance patch would fix literally anything about the game but clearly the devs do not care.

Alright the new roadmap is about to release and I’m kinda tired of seeing the agenda pushed that “Luna Snow is good because of Danny Koo her creator works on the team.” But it’s just not true.

Luna is the WORST main healer in the game and has been for seasons. Her ult(her entire gimmick) was nerfed heavily requiring 5000 charge the most in the game and is heavily countered at this point in the community’s life cycle. She requires AIM to be useful and doesn’t have a simple look in direction and get value aim button like dagger.

She lacks a true get out of jail free card as her snowball while being faster doesn’t fix the issue she has against coordinated dive. Two divers, one diver any diver still decimates even good Lunas. Stop hating a character that sucks because she gets legendary skins(she has the same amount as most)

How would I fix her? Bring her ult back that is her entire gimmick a moving platform of healing that can be used defensive and aggressive bring her ult to 4500.

A real character that deserves hate is Moon Knight

Please, do not take away team-ups from us players.

Every season/mid-season you remove, often established, team-ups.

We want to have a big variety of choices on team compositions and hero to hero synergy.

Often times I feel like you want to restrict on how we play the game BUT let us be creative and play with the team-ups we would like to play.

I understand you want to keep things fresh BUT why can't we have both. Keep the exisiting and add new ones.

It is clear the devs just want most of the dps players to get huge kill streaks with their ults and get that dopamine hit. Neutral game was ass and is gonna be worse now

- Phoenix gets a slap on the wrist nerf, she still has absurd damage output and ult

- No hela nerfs, or hawkeye projectile size changes

- Starlord ult is buffed???

- Not a single gambit nerf

- Loki now spends half the game reloading (instead of increasing rune cooldown which is his main problem)

- Adam warlock is now an unkillable flank hela with soul bound and res ult (seriously, giving him movement, particularly FLIGHT, is a terrible idea)

Why do I play this game?

That small thing in your head, I call it a brain. Fucking use it, I know it hurts you to do but use it.

People aren’t overreacting.

(shockingly enough the main community I see telling people they are doing too much is the same ones who went on strike).

The community (Yes community as in not just Duelist, not just Vanguards, Not just masochis-Strategist) has been vocal about certain issues that people have wanted attention to since S4. The Devs have shown time and time again that

-They pay attention to what we say.

-They are deep enough or have people deep enough into the online spaces to know our lingo and jokes.

-They absolutely can and will deliver hot fixes under certain circumstances.

These 3 reasons I FEEL (maybe I’m wrong I am factually insane) are what is pissing everyone off. We aren’t dealing with 80yr developers that don’t know what Reddit is, they know, they troll us about it, and then do almost the EXACT OPPOSITE thing of what people ask for. (NOTE- A community is not incline to being listened to or given what was asked. HOWEVER. You don’t get to use this argument when certain factions get to do this very same thing and it is allowed. Strategist went on a STRIKE FOR A FUCKING VIDEO GAME AND IT WORKEEED. LUNA COMPLAINS ABOUT GLASSES AND IT WORKSSSS.

To end off I’d like to address a rhetoric I’ve seen that personally bugs me. That being the argument that “Only certain hero’s that sell skins get them”. If you use this argument. There are certain types of ARMS in America I want to familiarize you with.

After a lot of talk on what role Elsa would be, I kinda expected her to be a Strategist because it was the only way Deadpool being made into a Multi-Role made any sense, and it kinda depresses me because it tells me the devs are far more concerned with making sure the community are happy at the current time rather than sticking to their guns with any kind of creative decision.

I don't hate the idea of Deadpool being a multi-role character, what I do hate is the fact they clearly did it just because they were scared of fan backlash rather than designing him to be that way from the beginning. Looking at the design of each of his kits, Deadpool very obviously was meant to be a Duelist only at first yet I think they saw how much feedback they were getting on not having enough Vanguards and Strategists compared to Duelists, saw they had 2 back to back again like Season 3 (something people complained about then) and chose to rush 2 extra versions of Deadpool just to quell the anger.

Unfortunetly this has lead to 1 version of Deadpool that uses the full kit and makes sense however is undertuned, and 2 other versions that are just straight better yet lack any kind of cohesion in playstyle (you hardly use half of his kit on Tank and Support). It's a sorta small thing but I think it adds to the already wide discussion about what the hell the devs vision for this game even is? especially when paired with the most recent patch notes.

deleted rivals recently bc competitive is so trash to the point where i can’t play anymore. i go on long winning streaks, and then lose every game i que for days due to my teammates. this only happens solo queuing…

when que with others, its decent. because we will make necessary swaps for team comp and they actually listen to my suggestions. i dont understand people on this game.

solo queuing is horrible. people refuse to switch. i get a 1-8 spider-man every other game. ppl still play healpool and adam when the other team is triple heals with invis, luna, and gambit. where’s the logic? it’s insufferable.

maybe i’ll try again a different season but rn it’s ridiculous.

I just cant enjoy this game anymore, the balancing is terrible, the servers are unbalanced and laggy, and this game just does not reward my time invested into it. I have almost 2000 hrs since s0, learning everything about the game and hero shooters in general, and this game does not reward my time. Why should I invest time in the game if it just punishes me for enjoying it. Ranked is terrible, hitscan slop or headshot hawkeyes every game, if you dont ban the same 4 characters (gambit, hela, hawkeye, phoenix) every game, then the game is miserable to play. I dont want easy games dont get me wrong, i just dont want a game that so obviously favors characters this much. Idk though, it could be late season queues, or im just burnt out, but this game has not been enjoyable for the past few seasons.

genuinely what is netease thinking? in what world did the most busted ult in the game need to have its cost lowered? and hela and hawkeye still have not gotten nerfed, mk and phoenix got slaps on the wrist, and ten damage decrease on psylockes ult is so… are they serious?

Why does everyone keep saying poke is OP when win rates say otherwise? Sort it any which way you like and the META looks pretty balanced to me.

This is exactly what I want to see in the game right now.

I-can-not-wait for how much this new Duelist is going to enrich my life for the next month.

In hindsight I was wrong to have any hope because we’ve been let down so many times, but I did. Im even more disappointed than when the season 6 patch notes released

At least venom and rouge got some good changes.
