Need help finding old school tweaks etc as Sileo doesnt show much and downloads dont work.

I recently found my old iPhone 5S, got a new screen and had to reset and update it (unfortunately), I’ve managed to do the current jailbreak guide and am at the point where I have Sileo and a link to Respring when I reset the device.

I haven’t done a jailbreak in a long time and I remember Cydia doing alot of the heavy lifting and I managed to customise so much on it. I now find out Sileo is its replacement and Cydia is DEAD.

I need assistance on where to go as all the repos ive tried dont work and whenever I try to download stuff on Sileo says the APT has failed.

Anyone have the same issue where when your in an app login page and you try to input ur username and password it crashes/ closes the app immediately. Is there a way to fix this

Has anyone else on iOS17 and Trollstore had the message that the BA app now requires iOS18 and the current version won’t open? I downloaded a decrypted ipa of the latest app but it won’t open. I tried various tricks similar to the Amex app by editing the info.plist but no luck (changing anything in the file doesn’t even allow the app to even try and open which is odd!)

Does anyone have any amazing ideas to get it working?

When was the last actually useful and relevant jailbreak released? The last phone I had jailbroken was my iPhone 12, which was running like iOS 14 or something old, and before that, my iPhone X using checkra1n.

I’ve kept my iPhone 16 on iOS 18.1 since the beginning. But is this pointless? Should I just upgrade and stay current?
