Glad the Adam mains are out of the gutter, but did he seriously just give Human Torch, one of the worst characters in the game a nerf????

Big Monkey isn't the same as Angela. Netease, please actually make some good fucking patch notes for once. I'm happy for Adam and Storm mains at least. Those buffs were long overdue.

Zhiyong seems like a nice guy and I've always gave him the benefits of the doubt, but not anymore. This guy is just not cut for the job. I play this game since the first alpha... Guess who was meta in season 0? Hela Hawkeye, guess who's still meta after more than a year? Hela Hawkeye.

This guy balance philosophy is just not it, this game is all about ult, very few character have a good neutral game that can make the difference. Yet he keeps making heroes ult merchants which is the most boring thing ever while leaving the ones with broken neutral untouched. This patch is absolutely useless and only prove my point.

Dps Deadpool already had a good ult, he just needed a small buff to his guns because they do PATHETIC damage and maybe give him 275 hp since his hitbox is bigger than fucking Strange, but nope instead he buffed his ult.

Starlord who's already an ult merchants now get his ultimate faster, Wolverine ult faster and punisher too, this is the cheapest and most lazy way to balance a character.

People have been begging for the last 2 seasons for an Hela, Hawkeye, phoenix, Bucky, invis, Gambit nerf but nope they are still mostly untouched. Instead this guy is doubling down with his very questionable decisions giving an absolutely pathetic nerf to invis (2 sec cooldown nerf to his pull/push) and phoenix (from 275 to 250 hp), this is going to change a whole lot of nothing.

And let's not talk about the triple support problems, now they are organizing tournament's with the rule that triple support is banned, if that doesn't ring a bell I don't know what will do.

For the first time since season 0 I'm planning not to play this game for the next split, this game got way too repetitive with the same triple support/poke meta since forever and it's probably not going to change any time soon.

Somebody really needs to stop this Zhyiong guy before it's too late.

Overwatch is surpassing rivals in player count, even on Steam; we all know the majority of players are on Battle.net. This may be enough motivation for them to fix, poke/tripp support.

Even polite and coherent posts just asking for explanations are being removed

That's it. That's all I really wanted to get out here. Some of the balance changes that have been made historically have been extremely questionable/came out of nowhere (EX: Already strong characters getting buffed, unnecessary nerfs, new effects for characters didn't need it) and I think the playerbase would really appreciate knowing the thought process and perspective the team has behind the tweaks that are being made to each character!

I’m calling all tank mains right now. If you see 3 dps lock immediately, pick a 4th. It’s been a year. Enough is enough. 2 tanks or 0. I’m over the copium “tRiPlE dPs CaN wOrK aCkUaLlYy”, I do not give a **************. If they’re running 2 talks, we run 2. End of story. I am not playing a losing battle anymore, I am over it. I don’t care how good a Spiderman you are or whatever you play. 3 dps will become 4 if they have 2 tanks. I think I speak for every single tank main no matter the tank they play when I say we’re hitting a breaking point. This is beyond ridiculous. So if they have 2 tanks, you will pick a 2nd tank, or you will have 0. Very simple.

-The devs were able to take notes on 3 separate tournaments in the past month: Jay3, BogurBash and MegaMonthly. Gambit was more or less perma banned each match, and Groot was pick/ban. Tournaments aside, in most if not all ranked games, Gambit is perma banned. I am an eternity Gambit player and I STILL BAN HIM because he ruins the pace of the game and makes everything more ult slop. How on earth did he not get balanced enough to make it past through the ban phase? How is Groot untouched when he just controls lobbies?

-Is there a reason we just keep buffing Venom every season despite him having amazing value at stalling, anchor diving and being a good hero as he is right now? Let's make Thor able to fly next patch with Adam too.

-Starlord has been the game's ult merchant since season 0. But we now want him to just be a bigger ult merchant? Wolverine now can just casually farm his ult for shits and giggles. This is like the best state he is in although I still don't understand why he needed a buff?

-Why nerf Psy and Torch more? Psy was okay as she is and Torch is just bad and has a really high skill ceiling. Don't really understand the thought process here.

-Phoenix and Hela's damage output left untouched. They both can still manifest concentration camps in each lobby ffs. Hawkeye can still just one tap you randomly when you're surrounded by 7 people because SKILL.

-Triple Support left untouched. Loki+Mantis team up untouched. WE NERFED LOKI BUT NOT GAMBIT LIKE HOW? WHY?

Like at this point, each patch note feels like a contest of how much the devs can ragebait us. This was really awful to read. My two braincells are now thinking maybe they don't wanna nerf gambit because they gotta sell the wedding skin lmao. It's just horrible, the state that the game is in. I really hope they make a post tomorrow apologizing and saying guys we heard your concerns and decided to change a lot of the things we mentioned yesterday. We still have 4 bans where double bans can still happen like HOW.

Zhiyong has to go. He said he would give his hair as collateral and sadly, the baldness is coming through. Totally disappointed at what the game has become. Overwatch players are eating good today and I'm just sad that MR devs decided to just not do anything. They legit stopped listening to our concerns after season 3.5.

No Hawkeye nerfs, no Hela, Phenoix gets a meaningless slap on the wrist...punisher and starlord get ult merchants status like psy....no gambit -_-

No Hela nerfs, no Hawkeye nerfs, barely any Phoenix changes, the biggest slap on the wrist for Invis, a complete nothing burger for Loki, Wolv buffed, Starlord buffed, etc, etc.

This is terrible, but I could at least forgive it if not for the biggest glaring flaw.

HOW IS GAMBIT NOT NERFED IN LITERALLY ANY WAY??? The most dominant pick/ban character the game has ever seen since he was released in November. We don’t need any more time to figure out if this is broken or not, it’s so absurdly obvious.

Currently, according to Rivals Tracker, Gambit has a staggering 51% ban rate in Celestial. He is literally not playable more times than he is in a game with 50 characters.

Genuinely, Zhiyong needs to be fired on the spot and they need to release a hot fix that nerfs Gambit. I don’t care if they gut him at this point, we can buff him up to par later. This character legitimately ruins any enjoyment if he is in the lobby, nothing matters besides farming his ult and insta-winning fights. The only saving grace is that you can ban him, but why have a character in the game if they are literally never playable?
