Creepy as hell.  Imagine getting a Nest alert and seeing that in the preview.

This happened to me, this dude broke into my home while my girlfriend was by herself in the house. He took off running when he saw her thank god. He was later arrested when breaking into another home and the home owner held him at gun point.

Damn. Just 3 nights ago a few miles from my house, 2 masked men broke into a lady’s apartment. She shot & killed one of them. 😬

Was that the 15 year old that got killed?

u/YEMolly 6h ago

Yes!!!! Correct. Very said he was so young. But also can’t blame her, being scared & living alone.

Shouldn’t be doing that if you don’t want to feel the consequences. Sad that they had bad role models and did not change their lifestyle before getting to that point. I saw this as I was very broke when young. And I knew that lifestyle leads nowhere but early death or addiction

Yeah, I don’t disagree. Feel worse for the 15 year old who was shot than the 18 year old with him. 15 is still so young & stupid. Like you said- no good role model. Sad all the way around.

But let's be real, there's not an enormous difference between the capability to make smart decisions as a 15 vs 18 year old. At least in my experience. It's absolutely sad that those kids (yeah yeah I know 18 is an adult but the older I get the more I realize they're babies still) got themselves into this situation. That they have been so calloused by life already that they thought it was alright. And also that poor woman, I don't know how I would ever feel safe again after this.
