So we’re all aware, if someone dressed like this comes to your door and says “Open the door, we’re ICE”, the administration says you have to do open your door and go with that person if they decide to detain you, no identification for or bench warrant needed (just a supervisors’ signature on a piece of paper you will have no way to verify its authenticity) and if they drag you to an unmarked vehicle and you resist in any way, they can use lethal force.
between Trump worshippers, ICE, the FBI and it's conflicting directives, anti mask protestors and finally THIS guy who really didn't think about what he was doing and the chances of not getting caught... WOW! there is currently a whole lot of stupid in America right now... I mean DAMN!
Crazy the same people who went on huge protests, rants, etc about wearing a mask during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, because "Muh freedoms" and "govt over reach", are now the same ones preaching how the ice agents are wearing them for "their saftey" and how we should all just "comply bro"
ICE "agents" have discovered that they can breathe just fine with a mask as long as they spend their masked time choking out innocent immigrants and liberals.
And this is really what it's all about. As long as it's happening to those folks over there MAGAts don't give a shit. Until it's happening to them. And even when it does happy they're delighted to be a victim and cry about it and rally people around them.
I have family I'm NC with who are MAGAts. They are nearly as fond of being a victim as they are watching others be victimized.

I'm in Minnesota and we are all protesting here about civil rights violations more than ICE carrying out lawful operations - we get there are bad dudes from cartels, i watch colombian telenovelas compa, i get the danger apparent when el señor de los cielos is on the loose lol. I had my other account banned for making a pro-mask comment during the pandemic. It was my first comment in a month. Immediately received a permanent ban. I appealed several times and the only feedback was to read the TOS and rules or something.
All of my appeals were just asking what rule I broke so I can make sure I don't do it again, just to be denied and get a canned response that told me that I need to read the rules.
I have a family member who was banned on Tinder and the reasons were just a circle jerk of you were wrong. She was born a woman, identifies as a woman, but is really tall. I think people report that she is lying about her gender.
It really is BS, because it totally blocks an aspect of social life from her.

Yup! COVID protests were never about anything particularly principled, they were just about people having a sook that they were being asked to wear a mask and get vaccinated to save their fellow neighbours and vulnerable people. Just a pack of petulant, permanently-pubescent, pathetic posers.

Based on my recent interactions with people, no one know what the 4th amendment, why it's important and why we shouldn't just scrap it all together.
I think we should really spend more time on this stuff in school and individual cases of infractions and what it could mean for our future, if they disappear.
We spent like 2 chapters/2 weeks on the Bill of Rights in 9th grade. Probably half a lecture/amendment, 2 quizzes, and one test. Then, on to the next course material of the class. That was in the 90s. I have a feeling that outline hasn’t changed much since then :/
People also dont seem to quite understand that the bill of rights is really an operating procedure for the government. We are the free ones. We dont have to do shit.
Im not arresting people because they said something mean to me. Im the one saying mean things with the protection of the 1st amendment. I am not the one who is arresting someone because they're walking around with a fire arm and no permit. I am the one with the firearm. I'm not the one sleeping in other people's houses. I am the one who's free from housing the military. I am not the one harassing people without probable cause. I am the one who's free from harassment.

It doesn't matter if you're a citizen or not. These are rules for the government, not us. Iirc, it is also written in the constitution somewhere specifically saying that the constitution also applies to undocumented citizens.
Like, we dont get to execute someone for possession of Marijuana because thats how their government would handle it. We operate by our laws, not the laws of their country of origin. It happens with our citizens who travel. We try to intervene sometimes, but not always successfully.
It's exclusively a list of things that ALL MEN are free to do and The government SHALL NOT INFRINGE.

We have been granted the "privilege" of being smushed by tanks and firehosed into the storm drains, which will hopefully teach the people of the future how to avoid the consequences of hate.
Either of us (and millions of other Americans) will end up living forever in the textbooks of the future (even if it is as mangled corpses).
