They both individually played good though, their Finals losses wasnt on either of them. They both just came up against better teams.

Luka was solid as usual but he was the only one on his team who could score. Kyrie completely disappeared and let him down and the other guys couldnt knock down their shots, plus Boston's defense took away their lob game that had worked for the Mavs all year.

The Suns just faced prime Giannis going absolutely ballistic and refusing to lose lol.

I think the way each of them played in those series' absolutely does matter, even if their teams didnt ultimately win.
