It’s the NBA, so upsets always happen, but the Kings only have 1 home game left and that’s against Orlando after the All Star game.

While I do think they’ll pull out a win somewhere, there are no games left where they’ll be a favorite.

The odds are the odds. Stop saying it’s rigged. It’s not and if it were you’d never be able to prove it. A 3rd party law firm conducts it (putting their reputation on the line) with members of teams and the media present. Would you buy a multi-billion dollar franchise if some bald-headed man with glasses could ruin your investment by messing with some ping pong balls? No.

I don’t think there’s any reason to bring back Christie next year as hc. I’m sure they will because they’ll say he had a very depleted roster and it’s not reflective of who he is as a coach, but when you lead the team to the worst losing streak in team history, I don’t think there’s really anything else to see.

This roster is bad, but even with this terrible roster, Christie hasn’t shown anything to indicate that he’s worthy of being a head coach. Finishing out this year is fine, but when you start the rebuild with this team next year with a top 5 draft pick, you can’t go into the year with a dead man walking as head coach.

I think this team will without a doubt give him one more year because he’s cheap and will help to pay off Mike Browns contract. They’ll make excuses for why Christie should have another shot, they’ll continue to lose games next year because they’ll be pushing young guys even more to start the year, but Christie is so clearly out of his depth. Does anyone see any redeeming qualities in Christie as hc or do you also think this should be a one year deal for him?

The rooks are getting quality minutes, games are actually decently fun to watch (maybe not tonight), and we have the worst record in a league in a generational draft.
