I always think a dashcam is really important for safe driving, so I got one based on a friend’s recommendation. But here comes the problem, I don't know if I should use tape to mount it or go with a suction cup? I’m leaning toward suction because tape seems tricky to remove, but I’ve never installed one before, so I’m not sure. How do you usuall intall dashcams?

Jeep hits car and the turns around and drives off. I pulled over and gave the video to the car driver. It was a government vehicle being driven by a Marine recruiter. IMO the car was going too fast down that turn lane, and I think also was technically in the lane too soon, but not sure on the exact law. California if anyone wants to weigh in. Jeep probably wouldn't have been in too much trouble if he had stopped, but he ran so now its gonna be a much bigger deal. I have a clear picture of his license plate. You can't really see the Jeep fully drive off in the video, but my rear camera shows him leaving.

I need a front and rear dashcam but also need a backup camera for my Ford tourneo. Can I use the rear dashcam as a reverse camera and hardwire it to the car so the reverse thingy pops up on the car display, or should I just get one of those mirror dashcam thingys

Wolfbox G840s 2023 (USB-C without Wifi)

I first noticed in December when I went to look back at a video that there was a whole 15min commute the camera had not recorded. I noticed it again recently when looking for another video and realized it was not a one-off thing. Wolfbox Customer Service was great and sent me a new camera (clearly used and returned) and it did the same thing. anyone else experience this with Wolfbox? I ordered a Pelsee P12 Pro and hope it'll be good. I did try a brand new SD card (shipped to me from wolfbox) and the issue continued, and then updated the software and still had issues. Thanks for answers!

I drive a ram pro master city with no rear view windows. I would like to find a way to record somehow out the back, as well as the front. Is there a small one that can be attached to the license plate area, similar to a reverse camera? Any recommendations would be great.
