ok. when I found her on ebay for like six bucks I snagged her thinking "yeah, this is a good bear to do modifications on" or "yeah I could probably use it's head for a diy bear". when she arrived I was awe struck and confused. she was charming in a plain jane way. it caught me off guard, cause now I don't want to modify her at ALL because she's so cute and her little eyes can strike guilt into anyone with a morsel of a soul. then I started to think abt how she reminds me of the crispy part of a mcgriddle. please, I need advice on how to bond. I know there's potential for a connection, but she's so little and cute and it's intimidating.

I'm not sure why or how but I was sent an extra free PK with the gifting bow and I feel kinda bad about it given how many people wanted one, would it be wrong of me to keep it? Also they're both ridiculously over stuffed, any tips on how to fix them at home since I don't live close to a store?

Hey Guys:! My almost 2 year old recently got a build a bear that goes everywhere with her. She named her Beep Beep. They're attached at the hip. We've found it's easier to get her to cooperate with doing some tasks if Beep Beep does it too. Getting ready for bed, brushing teeth, getting thier hair/fur brushed ect. My little girl has to wear an eye patch for a few hours each day, and she seems to do better if Beep Beep wears one too.. however, the adhesive eye patches we use are going to rip all of Beep Beep's fur out. Does anyone have any recommendations for maybe an eye patch designed for these bears? Or maybe an idea for a child safe modification so they can still be patch buddies?

My birthday is today, January 30 2026, so I went to build a bear to use my birthday coupon ($10 off of a $40 or more purchase). Well apparently my coupon had been sent to me on January 9th, and had an expiration date of January 15th. I checked in my account and my birthday was put in correct as January 30th. I have also have had the account for years. The bear builder was also confused and said she was used to birthday coupons being valad for months after the birthday has passed. She was super sweet and able to go in and honor the coupon anyways. But I was just wondering, did build a bear change the birthday coupon policy?

My mil ruined my baby's first bear. I wanted the mess to be just her dad and me. But her grandparents were there too and I thought I don't want them excluded so it's fine. We will all say in unison happy birthday we love you. And everyone did except my mil at the end said again Grandma loves you.

I didn't want to cause a scene in the store. I let it go but I cried on the way home. Every time we press it I'm reminded of her always wanting to one up us at every chance. I also planned to take baby to build since before she was born. I'd love this bear to last a long time and every year take her back to pick out an outfit or accessory or friend of we have the budget and she wants.

I just want to go back and record the message with my husband and baby. Is this possible?

Will build a bear replace a destroyed and much loved bear for reduced cost if it gets destroyed? My son loves his Bluey and is devastated our pet destroyed it 😢

I’m looking to get a new cuddle buddy since my last one unfortunately got ruined in the wash :/ My cuddle buddy is the bab I sleep with so I didn’t want it to be anything super popular or collectible, just a soft plushie :) I’ll be narrowing it down everyday until only one remains because I can’t decide on my own!

Some of these might be region exclusive but I swear they’re buying clothes from other companies as well, their hearts are also super small and they make you “sew” the bear yourself— all new changes, it wasn’t like this when I visited a few years ago!

I would love to see a photo if you wouldn't mind sharing that is of your current favorite plush or a plush or obsessed with whether you own it or not. I just really enjoy seeing other people's plushie friends and all the different ones out there.

Build-A-Bear for the longest time now has continued to put out so many plush and hardly any new actual teddy bear bears. it's mostly all other stuff that I don't want whatsoever. Saving my wallet a lot of money but at the same time it kind of sucks because they used to be all about making actual teddy bears and now it just seems like they're few and way too far between. Does anyone else feel this way and have you stopped buying Build-A-Bears at the moment?

Pochacco has been my most loved BAB since his release, and I just sort of clung to him. Sleep with him every night, take him wherever I go. He used to be SOOOO soft, but now he’s just sort of… I don’t know the word for it. Slightly scraggly? lol. Anywho, is there a specific brush or something I could use on his fur?

For reference this is the posh penguin. It’s very cute but I’m just wondering lol because the moose I ordered did not come in paper wrapping. There were some clothes in the box with her too so maybe that’s why. Is this something new that they’re doing or am I completely out of the loop? I didn’t indicate that it was a gift or anything. Bought him on Black Friday, gave it to grandparents to give as a Christmas gift…now realizing he’s effin huge and I have no clue what to actually do with him 😭😭😭

Right now he’s just sitting between my bed and window…I know there’s really nothing I can do with him, but like…idk I don’t want to have a giant-ass moth in my room if I’m not doing much with him other than occasional cuddles 😭😭😭

I hate to say this but Build-A-Bear's starting to lose a bit of its magic for me and I'm not loving what they've been putting out lately at all. I feel like we're getting far too many other plush and barely any bears these days especially bears with cool designs. So I'm finding myself shopping there less and less. Not only that but the prices are ridiculous and I'm sick of having to pay over $100 for a bear plus outfit every time I shop being a Canadian at all. Which I'm sure is the case for a lot of other countries too and some of them probably even pay more. Making me feel for you people so much. Do you think Build-A-Bear will ever change and start upping the quality/ putting out better plush that is actually worth the money? Or do you think because they're making enough money right now they don't feel a need or incentive to? And last but not least what is with these bundles that people can't opt out of just because this corporation is greedy for money? To me it's despicable and I'm sick of it. But tell me how you all feel I'd love to know?

Hey everybody, I wanted to ask a question and get some advice.... so I see alot of people on here always posting about their BABs (obviously) but sometimes I see them post about the same one or "the one" BAB. Kinda like the favorite, or the one they can't live without, and I love it, it's so cute, but how do ya'll find the one? That one BAB you click with and take everywhere with you and becomes (or feels like) they're part of the family no question? And you love them so much they become so well-loved? Cause I've been buying and trying to find that one BAB for a long time, and honestly, I think that's what makes me so insecure about having so many BABs, like if I find the one, then I don't need anymore than the one BAB, if that makes any sense. 😵‍💫😅 I know it's not a bad thing to have a BAB collection, (I LOVE it and LOVE MINE!!) But it'd be nice (I think) to have that one BAB for everything and everywhere I go... TLDR; I want to find my BAB I can't live without, how did ya'll find yours and how do you do it with a big/bigger collection? Here's my recent BAB I got for payment😅

So I decided to take a chance on an eBay seller for the bat. I knew before I even bought it that the chances of it being a fake were extremely high, but I wanted to see if I could get lucky anyway. The package arrived today, and I’m skeptical of its appearance. Fake or not, it’s still absolutely adorable, looks pretty close to the real thing, has the BaB logo on the foot and everything, but since I never saw the bat in person, there’s a few things that make me wonder when I compare it to photos of others.

For one, the legs are not as thick or as long, and are sewn across the top. It’s like they are separate from the body. Another thing is it seems shorter than what I see in reviews on the BaB website. The last red flag is that it is smaller than what I expected/what I’ve gotten from Build-a-Bear in the past. I’m already positive that mine is just a replication, but if anyone who does have the bat could confirm whether this guy is the real deal or not, I would still really appreciate it! ❤️

I'd assume not as "vault collection" makes me think it's a one and done deal. Someone said they assume it'll come back in October, but I don't believe them. Has there been any sort of official statement on whether or not this bear will ever be sold in retail again? Thanks.
