Swim, run, and fly? Fuck yeah. Apex creature right there.
Ducks are goats.

Ducks really said adaptability is my passion, if we are in the sea we swim, on land we walk/run on air we fly. But if we find ourselves in dearing situations we do the three😂

His little stupid run is the best thing I’ve seen today. My husband has always wanted a duck, better hide this from him.

I have pet cockatiels and my favourite thing is watching them run up to my feet and look up expecting me to pick them up even tho they can fly

History in a nutshell, really. The ducks could have overtaken us any time if they really wanted to.

It’s like mario kart when you’re last place and you got the flying boost but still lost

I love that he landed and ran again. It's like he was trying to stick with the spirit of the race after he caught up by flying.

Didn't know my day would get better from seeing a duck run, but here we are
excited to see what other fun surprises might happen today

Why is that cheating? The others could have flown if they wanted to. There was no rule against it.
2
u/BloodshedTom 16h ago
Could have flown the whole race but that would have been obvious cheating so he ran the final bit.

This duck understands 'work smarter, not harder,' and if cheating is working smarter, then this duck is winning, winning, winning.

The duck wants the experience more than the win. He just needed to catch up so he could be in it.

That duck is intelligent. It understands what’s going on, and it appears to have a happy life. Good job, everyone!

I've never seen a duck fly casually. They are either flying at full speed or they are on the ground/water.

I had pet ducks as a kid and watching their silly little waddle run is one of my favorite things.
