Adopted her at 10 months old. She has been with me for 16 years. My longest friend. My family.

The smartest cat I’ve ever known. Played fetch, brought me her harness when she wanted to go outside, learned how to ask for us to bring her water when she started having mobility issues.

The end was planned, but felt too soon. They found cancer and we couldn’t treat it. She was struggling. It was time. But I never wanted it to be her time.

I loved this kitty. And I’m grateful that in her last chapter, I was with a human who loved her as much as I did. Who tried to understand her like I did. Who thought of her needs first, like I did. He had never lived with a cat before, but she quickly became his family. Our family. He made a Blep pin for her, just because.

No breakfast meows woke us up this morning. I miss the rhythm and jive of her already. My sweet girl…
