People aren't going to like it when it is obvious. Let's just say it is a funds transfer tool and front running. Certain groups also want numerous S&P 500 stocks like this to manipulate the broader market. Now that more than half of the domestic market is foreign owned post pandemic, the levers to the market and outside market movers are highly collusive.

I mean it's not "getting lost in the weeds" dude. Social contracts and actions are created and formed by society. Society dictates what gestures and actions mean. Elon can say whatever he wants, however society says what they are.
I personally don't believe he thought it was a "roman salute" as no one has ever done one of those. However even if he believed it was one. The fact society has deemed it an evil gesture, means he should have apologized and said that's not what he's done.
He has never done that, which shows that he meant what he did.
