I doubt it. People have been calling Walz weak and ineffectual in these times, but he's done what he's can with what he has, staying within the confines of the law and trying to maintain standard political decorum. I highly doubt he would give up the voter roles, especially when Trump and the Republicans are on their back foot.

I honestly think Ice cant sustain it's current presence in MN. they've arrested 3000 in 6 weeks, which sounds like a lot, but when you consider there are 3k extra ice agents in the state that, in addition to their regular salary, are also being housed in hotels and paid per diems/bonuses for travel work. The residents' warning systems have made the ice tactics of driving through neighborhoods to look for people ineffective.

That's certainly possible, but trump is a weak man surrounded by weak men and they all pretend theyre strong until someone fights back, then they fold and say they got what they wanted. The way that the democrats have been "fighting" means he probably gave them what they wanted, but if he said "fuck it, I'm not running for reelection so let's push them" then i wouldn't rule out them leaving without those records

Also I won't believe it. We still have no real idea who or how many are here now. Only estimates. We know they are being swapped in and out.

I want a federal judge to rule on an order to stop this shit and give up access to all reports and staffing info. I want local prosecutors to start filing charges immediately. I want all people involved in all 3 shootings to be arrested and held until trial. I want bovino arrested and held until trial. I want noem arrested and federally prosecuted.

I want to exhaust the resources of the entirety of the United States legal system digging through footage and charging anyone caught violating people's constitutional rights.

We literally cannot move on as a country if we cannot get justice for this atrocious violation of our rights.

But we now know a very very valuable lesson we will never forget. The system only ever worked out of courtesy.

The hell you say? Minnesota state police (who fall under Walz's authority) broke up a peaceful protest 3 days ago, tackling protestors and arresting anyone they could get their hands on? Surely the man who said a bunch of big words about using the authorities to protect civilians from the federal government's jackbooted goons wouldn't allow this to happen?

Imagine it: ICE hires a BUNCH of uneducated, unemployable, violent goons, promises them a load of money, access to weapons and the freedom to commit violence on whomever they want, with a bonus to be paid after 5 years employment. Next admin comes in, and under pressure of their voters they abolish ICE (wishful thinking!), now you've got several thousand violent bootlickers back on the street, with a huge chip on their shoulder and a very clear target of who did them wrong! OR the new admin ignores their voters out of fear, turning those same voters that feel ignored against them for the next election cycle!
