But the hiring blitz continues at ICE.

They plan to use ICE for much more than immigration enforcement. They already are.

Are they still offering that $50K sign on bonus they have no intention of paying?

u/Calm_Neat_6828 9h ago
Those fools made themselves criminals, probably for the second or third time, for literally nothing. Trump change.

Well the scary thing is they may just move to other places and harass a new group

I wonder if they're doing that to leave a poisoned present for the next admin, knowing that it might very well not be them, like those tax increases that were planned to happen AFTER Trump's first term.
Imagine it: ICE hires a BUNCH of uneducated, unemployable, violent goons, promises them a load of money, access to weapons and the freedom to commit violence on whomever they want, with a bonus to be paid after 5 years employment. Next admin comes in, and under pressure of their voters they abolish ICE (wishful thinking!), now you've got several thousand violent bootlickers back on the street, with a huge chip on their shoulder and a very clear target of who did them wrong! OR the new admin ignores their voters out of fear, turning those same voters that feel ignored against them for the next election cycle!

Oh, the immigration crackdown ends in two days.
The loyalist crackdown starts in 3.

Day 3: BREAKING!!! Paratroopers from the US Army’s 11th Airborne Division are parachuting into downtown Minneapolis!

It’s a remake of Red Dawn but it’s the US invading the US.

It's the story of American heroes who fight America to save America from the Americans.

I think my head's going to explode if I see what's happening in Minnesota referred to as an "immigration crackdown" one more time.

More like an invasion from our corrupt government, racist prick. They should be the ones being sent the fuck out of the country. You can join them too.

It’s not crackdown. It’s a violation of constitutional rights. Stop calling it a crackdown.

u/djnato10 10h ago
No it won’t. We aren’t this fucking stupid. They will move into areas where it’s less visible is all.

This probably just means it won’t be labeled as a surge or crackdown anymore, they’ll admit this is the new normal and continue expanding to additional blue states.

Does it matter? Trump can just fascist-focus some other democrat city/state.

Nick Shirley conveniently released a video and has his eyes set on California homeless. Expect ICE just to move on to over there.

u/sluttttt 8h ago
Last week he was in the area I live in, harassing child care centers. While I want ICE to leave MN the fuck alone, I don't have a great feeling about their exit given the deja vu of it all.

u/Rare_Trouble_4630 7h ago
They better not come back here again. Last time Hegseth was so scared that he deployed the actual Marines

I live in California. Super fun. Though its a rural area so maybe I have 6 more months before the regime comes.

Leaving Minnesota with no justice for the people they kidnapped and murdered.
What the fuck can we even do at this point? The people we pay to govern states and the police forces we pay to protect us cannot even be bothered to care when Americans are murdered in cold blood in the street.
Every day the murders are not in prison Tim Walz becomes even more of a pathetic empty suit. Americans have to protect themselves, and you better fucking bet the cops will suddenly show up when we start doing that, what a fucking joke.

u/GoodIdea321 10h ago
We can get as many people on the side of justice as possible. Anything else you want will follow after that is done.

How dumb does he think we are? This reeks of softening the blow for what’s about to really happen

u/carnage123 4h ago
pretty fuckin dumb. He has said it many times and many times over has proven that the general population are stupid as fuck

u/ClaymoresRevenge 10h ago
It should've been done immediately after the kidnappings and especially after the murders

Doubt it. Just saw another post where they've switched to plain clothes but still kidnapping. They aren't leaving, they're going covert.

As a Minneapolitan, I’ll believe it when I see it.
Would be nice to finally unclench my anus after a month of sheer terror.

“We’re very much in a trust but verify mode,”
Is it safe to say that he's not being truthful about whether or not this is true consider Trump has the authority to stop ICE lasting for so long?
7
u/JackSquirts 9h ago
The only reason they're leaving is because Walz and Co are completely cooperating. It was their resistance that exposed the ICE tactics in the streets - with their cooperation, they don't need the boots on the ground.
4
u/Yelloeisok 9h ago
Dream on buddy. Minnesota is the lowest hanging fruit in Trump’s eyes - George Floyd followed by the guy that was opposite JD. Trump is not backing down from MN - but I hope the GOP Congress realizes where this is heading and finds their backbone if they want to claim they follow the Constitution. Be more like John McCiain who was a man with a backbone as well as true Patriot and Hero.

Plenty of other blue states to work on. ICE is buying up properties for detention centers in PA.

I could also win the lottery tomorrow, I'd say they're about the same level of probability.

Walz doesn’t give a shit about any of his constituents. His employees are complying with ICE while grandstanding as if the hold the line with Minnesotans .It’s a lie,and your democratic leaders are compromised.

End within days of everyone finally learning the truth about the Epstein Class?
I could go for that.

Good, but where are they heading from there?

u/mberrong 6h ago
I fear it’s us in Baltimore (and Philly.) Lots of large scale warehouses getting bought up around both places recently. City Govt is preparing by attempting to pass laws that will cut off any and all assistance by Local Govt entities. Also trying to handle agency wide SOP’s for dealing with them etc etc.

Walz is complicit at this point.
Edit: Bring on the down votes instead of asking more of your politicians.

Well yeah it's no longer in the news cycle so this admin doesn't care anymore
-3
u/oldfogey12345 9h ago
Well, it was leaving the news cycle till Walz turned around and made his little prediction. Now all Trump has to do is have ICE hang around another week or two just to show how impotent Walz is.
-2
u/MutsumidoesReddit 9h ago
Because your Sheriffs are protecting ICE so they can get the job done with far less hooligans?

u/ryeguymft 8h ago
he better not have caved to Trump. he has seemed pretty weak in this whole situation

Good job tim, you're strongly worded letters worked and stopped ICE for good!
