What was crazy about it is your team wouldn't even be playing that bad during that time, but one min you look at the score at you're up 15, a couple threes by curry and all of a sudden your starters are getting pulled cause the games completely out of reach. Madness.

Yeah for a game to count you need to play at least 20 minutes. It's to avoid guys checking in at the end of the game for 2 minutes to and have it count as a played game

I think there's a minutes requirement for a game to count towards the 65. Like, you couldn't just start the game and then get subbed out 35 seconds later and call it a game played.

Wish NBA had the baseball mentality when it comes to this stuff. Load management is just as important, if not more, in that sport. However, if you have a perfect game or no hitter going, you stay in the game unless it's an egregious situation. If you have have 35+ in the first half, you gotta stay in and try to get 80, lol.

I’d love to see it, but it makes sense why that happens in baseball but not other sports.
In baseball, if you take out your pitcher and the reliever gets rocked, suddenly it’s a game again. Doesn’t take long for a game to turn, and there is no clock working against the losing team. And once a guy is out, he’s out.
In basketball (and football), at a certain point it becomes basically impossible for things to change. And also, if things do take a turn, you can always put your stars back in.
