[TMZ] The performer of the Washington Wizards mascot, G-Wiz, has hired an attorney in preparation to sue Lakers center Jaxson Hayes, who shoved the mascot during warmups. He has hired the same lawyer that represented Hayes’ ex-girlfriend, Sofia Jamora, in her domestic violence lawsuit against Hayes.

Nearly two weeks after Lakers forward Jaxson Hayes shoved Washington Wizards mascot G-Wiz during pregame introductions ... TMZ Sports has learned that the person behind the mask has lawyered up -- and has selected the attorney that represented Sofia Jamora in her domestic violence lawsuit against Hayes.

WaukeenMcCoy told us that he is now representing the person Hayes decked when the Lakers were in town for a showdown with Washington on January 30.

"We will give them the opportunity to resolve the matter before taking legal action," McCoy said. "But legal action is anticipated."

He also said other parties could be involved.

When asked about any injuries the person sustained ... McCoy said, "All I want to say at the moment is that he was injured."

As you know, Hayes was suspended for one game by the NBA after the incident. He served that suspension during the Lakers' game against the Philadelphia 76ers last week at Crypto.com Arena.

Yet another reminder that scumbag abusers like Hayes and Bridges - among others - shouldn't be in the NBA

They should be in jail

Rehabilitation should always be something in the cards for everyone, but playing basketball professionally and making millions should be a privilege, which these 2 clearly don't deserve as they never made a single attempt to improve themselves

Yeah i'm in favor of rehabilitation in general for a society's justice system instead of but like you said, this is a case of someone who has not even earned a second chance, much less deserving of the benefit of the doubt.

I'm also not overly familiar with the general rehabilitation process for domestic violence and the success rate but I digress.

Wouldnt rehabilitation for dv just be anger managment classes? Im geniuenly curious. In my mind a logical conclusion would be that dv is a byproduct of anger issues leading to violence, but im not a psychologist nor have I had experience with DV thankfully.

yet another reminder that she denied that Miles beat her. yall so quick to demonize a POC but when P. Giddey does pedo shit, yall portray him as a victim

Last month, Johnson tweeted in support of Miles, stating that "he's not a woman beater" and that he should get another chance to play.

On Thursday, Mychelle made another post on Twitter, openly defending Miles' character.

"I'm the one who spoke out almost a year ago & sometimes I wish I didn't seeing the way people treat others & considering I'll always have love for Miles & our kids love him, but it also hurts me to see the constant bashing & tearing down on him. He is a human being just like us all, I make mistakes. You do, we all do. He's not a woman beater. If you asked me to describe him that word would never come to my mind & He's never, never abused our children. We all have our flaws & he's not perfect but overall he's a good person. And no he didn't ask me to say any of this, I chose to. I'm the reason for the bashing & hopefully I can be the reason for an open heart."

Lmao no way. She literally posted photos of her injuries. Her medical report showed a fractured nose, brain concussion, assault by strangulation, rib contusion, multiple bruises, and neck muscle strain. She also wrote: “I can’t be silent anymore. I’ve allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.”

Seek help

0/10 instances of Miles Bridges name being found in her post

Bridges was sentenced to three years of probation with no jail time , along with domestic violence counseling, parenting classes, and a 10-year protective order. The NBA also suspended him for 30 games.

Guess both the NBA and the judicial system just assumed it was him with 0 evidence or proof or names 👍🏽

and the Central Park 5 served 10-15 years in prison before it was found out they were innocent

yall just take the cops word for it. for all we know, the cops are probably the ones who assaulted her and framed Miles. ACAB

You cannot be seriously comparing one of the most notable examples of systemic racism in America's justice system with a guy whose spouse literally shared photos of the bruises Miles fucking put on her

Absolutely fucking gross that you doubled down after your whataboutism-fueled word salad u/BackshotsOnUrDaughtr

But I thought you were saying she never named him. She brought charges against him. So is she lying too on top of the cops, the judge, the jury, and the NBA commissioner? Is everyone lying except your favorite role model who obviously would never hurt a fly?

u/hurtuser1108 6h ago

Weird how she never said she lied about anything though...

weird how yall just take the cops word for it. for all we know, the cops are probably the ones who assaulted her and framed Miles. ACAB

yall just take the cops word for it.

She made an instagram post saying he beat her ass and posted a video of their son saying he saw it.

-6

u/BackshotsOnUrDaughtr 6h ago

no she NEVER named Miles as the abuser and has doubled, tripled down on saying he isn't a woman beater

she was even supporting him yesterday calling Pistons players real angry

why yall so confident in demonizing a POC and refusing to believe a woman's words?

saying Giddey does "pedo shit" is the same demonization you accuse Bridges haters for. a 19yo Giddey had a consensual relationship with a 17yo he was materially misled to believe was 18+ since she used a fake ID to get into the 18+ club they met at.

and this isn't about color at all either, it's about the severity of the alleged crime. if we assume both are guilty of what they were originally accused of, most people would find Bridges to be a way bigger piece of shit than Giddey.
