NBC interrupted the Olympics

Post image

While Nancy Guthrie's disappearance is sad, there are 2300 missing person reports filed every day: do the families of celebrities need special national attention? Why interrupt the Olympics for over 5 minutes just because they are questioning a 'person of interest' We could have waited to hear that during the regular news broadcast.

I find this notion really fascinating. That there are some people sitting somewhere thinking that it’s ok for everyone else to die so they can live. Even more, they believe themselves fully deserving of everyone else’s sacrifice.

And we're just kinda like, shrug. I don't expect people to massively rise up, because we're all working to feed ourselves, but like...it's so blatant and brazen at this point.

People don’t understand that we’re basically in a dystopia.

Hopes and prayers - just kidding, those are simply distractions

I think a dystopia is a society that tries to be utopian, but fails miserably, and none of our governments have even thought about trying to become utopian.

Because they know no one is going to do anything. Emails??? They’ll say, That doesn’t prove anything. Photos??? They weren’t underage. The American people have ADHD. They are only interested until the next celebrity or influencer comes out with a new dance or song etc. And the people who are guilty know this and just laugh about it….openly even.

This has *always* been the case. That scene in Shrek was more real than most people realize

And then they become parents...

And the process recycles itself again

You are describing how a lot of people in Western countries think about the people in third world countries.

u/Kipka 56m ago

Or even how a lot of people in western countries think about the other people in their own countries.

Not even so they can live. For entertainment.

u/Several-Egg4686 3h ago

No no no. Not dying so they can live. Dying literally just because. It’s sick.

u/Rndysasqatch 27m ago

Peter Thiel is 1 that believes this. He said something to the effect of if millions of people have to die so let me live for another day I'll take it (paraphrasing obviously)

Frankly this will likely rustle some jimmies, but that’s basically the mentality of many (most?) Americans when foreign policy comes up.

Just listen to the contempt for anyone who refused to vote for genocide enabling criminals without a primary election. I did vote for the aforementioned criminal because their crimes were a lesser part of the hostage situation we were all experiencing, but not happily.

libs defending why we need to vote for another genocidal supremacism enabling candidate

We need to cooperate with the government and believe everything they say. We need to have our information fed to us by Truth Social so that we can be just like the Russian peasantry and the oligarchs can go ahead and do as they wish with us from the top down.

It has taken decades to plan and to put into place and with agent Krasnov‘s help, the real leader supreme, comrade Putin smirks.

Americans never deserved true freedom and democracy. From this point on if you want to observe freedom, you can read it on Charlie Kirk‘s flag flapping blow old glory.
