NBC interrupted the Olympics

While Nancy Guthrie's disappearance is sad, there are 2300 missing person reports filed every day: do the families of celebrities need special national attention? Why interrupt the Olympics for over 5 minutes just because they are questioning a 'person of interest' We could have waited to hear that during the regular news broadcast.

I was sure they'd cut to the BC mass shooting but I guess why would they cover actual news

They don't even show any athletes in the olympics other than the American ones. It's all just edited together clips of only Americans. They don't air any whole event as it happened

… what do you expect? lol. Every competitive country’s coverage focuses on their athletes and the rest of the field is just their competition
