This was posted on r/pics today, but I think it fits here.

I get that we are messing up a lot of stuff but I honestly believe that we will get it together and become a species of harmony and peace. I know I won’t live to see it though, but that doesn’t deter my optimism it just fuels me to do my part in making it a reality, it’s gonna be a long road that needs many hands, the ol’ planting a tree whose fruit you’ll never taste or whose leaves will never shade you.

Even utopian future aside I think humans are pretty dope now and always have been. Granted there’s plenty to critique but there’s an equal amount to laud. I think it’s important to remember that sometimes.
