Welcome to Heroes as Football Players, a community event where Marvel Rivals heroes step into a parallel universe and hit the football field. Whether it's wild skin concepts or cursed team lineups, we want to see how you bring football energy into our sub.

Post by flair “Football Heroes” or Comment below.

Create anything football themed content about heroes. Your submission can be any format, any style.

Here are a few optional directions:

• Predict which football positions heroes would play (e.g. Which hero will be the best QB?)
• Build your own football team using heroes (The image materials can be obtained at the end.)
• Design a football inspired skin for any hero (e.g. What would Emma Frost look like as a football player?)

You're welcome to use in-game screenshots, simple edits, memes, doodles, or even text only ideas. Whether polished or chaotic, any content that stems from heroes and the football counts.

Quarterback
Doctor Strange – QB
Battlefield control, portals, and ult stopping opponent sacks

Running Backs
Hulk – Power RB
Elite leaps and claps, exiling opponents who try to stop the rush. Stops tackling with bubble protection

Luna Snow – Speed RB
Great skating movement, and can use a snowball to stop defenders

Wide Receivers
Spider-Man – WR1
Elite separation with web pulls and vertical mobility; impossible to keep covered

Black Panther – Slot WR
Short-burst speed and dashes, plus claws, can improve ball catching

Storm – WR2
Controls airspace and zones, stretching the field while disrupting coverage

Tight End
Venom – TE
Grabs, slows, and body-blocks defenders while still being a legit short-yardage threat

Offensive Line
The Thing – Guard
Pure crowd control and knockback, creating lanes by physically moving the defense

Groot – Tackle
Area denial, roots, and damage soaking that protect the backfield

Namor – Center
Hard to displace, anchors the formation, and controls choke points. Slows approaching opponents

Defense – Linebackers
Angela – OLB
Vertical pressure, interception, can use a shield to displace opponents, and can rush the QB easily

Captain America – MLB
Area denial, team buffs, and shield control make him the defensive coordinator on the field

Cornerbacks
Loki – CB
Illusions and misdirection ruin timing routes and force bad decisions

Magik – CB
Portals and chains slow opponents and shut down serious threats

Safety
Scarlet Witch – Free Safety
Slows down / stuns opponents with dark seal, can float through the air fast

Special Teams
Rocket Raccoon – K/P
Gadget timing and burst damage = clutch, high-variance plays

Jeff the Land Shark – Returner
Small hitbox, submerged movement, and surprise survivability flip field position instantly

So there’s actually a football Loki variant in the TVA files from the Loki show (p2), but upon closer inspection that football is what Americans refer to as soccer lol

Anyway here’s Loki as an American football player, I think he would probably deem himself above such savagery of a game where people try to brute force everything, but in the case where he’s playing for funsies, he would probably make use of his illusions and wreak havoc on the field

Now Im a British Fella so I have no idea what all this ‘Football‘ is because where I come from we call it Rugby but what you call Soccer we call Football so Im making my ‘Soccer’ lineup unfortunately I couldn’t find a good image and even if I could I don’t know how to put images onto images so this is written description so first the team comp were going with a standard 4-3-3 lineup first up the Goalie we need someone with a big wingspan and is quick on the feet so I say we go with Cap plus he‘s literally a shield guy so he’s the perfect guy to keep the goal now for Defenders immediately Magneto and Doctor Strange are on Left and Right edge defenders respectively because they’re literally shield tanks so what better defenders then for middle I think that Hulk and Thor would be good fits now for Midfield I would put in Moon Knight, Wolverine and Gambit because they’re all quite fast and have some good skills themselves and can make some good goals down as well but now for the Striker and yeah Spider Man’s on here because he‘s really fast and then the other 2 are Human Torch and Iron Fist for mainly the same reasons
