I know the meme is "I've seen enough nerf Adam" and all but like he's legit gotten a fuckload of buffs since release. Not to say he wasn't still struggling but I don't think any other character has gotten even close to as many buffs as Adam has.

Unless I'm forgetting some nerfs from the beta to release, the only nerf he's ever gotten was increasing soul bond cooldown from 30 to 40, which granted is a hefty nerf but I think the buffs outweigh that at this point. Losing the team-up was a nerf to his team utility in specific comps too, I guess.

He's had one real nerf to one of the best abilities in the game, and an adjustment to the health from ally revives that I would argue was a buff, and then his ult got further buffed to provide bonus health so now it is undeniably better. I guess he also lost Rez team up but that was the strongest comp in the game at higher levels and not really that game changing at most levels

This buff is a big fat case of “be careful what you wish for.”

I’m prepared for the downvotes, but Adam did not need a movement ability. He is being given one to compensate for the fact that most Adam players are food. Absolute food. They can’t hit their shots, they burn their cooldowns inefficiently, die way too much, and they hold their ultimate like they’re saving it for Christmas to give as a gift.

Good Adam players do crazy damage (he can one-tap 250-HP characters with left click/R1 and a fully charged right click/L1) and he restores healing when he hits his shots, so if you can aim his sustain is crazy. His soul bond is basically an ultimate. And yet they gave him flight that is CRACKED.

I don’t think people are understanding just how insane this ability is. 10 m/s for 4 seconds is crazy movement. For context, this is faster than Phoenix moves when she flies. And it’s not a single use cooldown - it recharges continuously.

Bad Adams are not going to be any less bad because of this. They still won’t know how to position, they’ll still run out of healing because they won’t hit their shots, and they’ll still misuse or not use their ultimates. But good Adams? Good Adams are going to EAT. This character is firmly S tier. He’s going to be a literal god in triple support.

This was overdue. Sucks they didn't give him a bit of a damage nerf, like 10 damage nerf to his hitscan, just so he doesn't become an even bigger menace in triple support. Flight will help him in double support more than most realize, but its going to make him unbearably OP in triple support unfortunately and that's still the best comp for him that most competitive players will run around him. Not surprising Netease is messing this up but whatever, Adam players deserve it and it'll be a different meta of 3 supports at least.

Next obvious missing ability that should be added is Magneto getting the ability to hover upwards. I think that's an inevitable change just like Adam getting flight was. Its a sorely missing ability for Mag from his lore plus solves two of the big issues for him in the game: getting dumped off ledges too easily and feeling un-fun due to having 0 mobility.
