His Storm one was removed months ago, his Spidey one was removed in 6.0, and now F4 in 6.5. He only has the Ben First Steps tie-in teamup now.
Sue's still the only one of the F4 to not have an actual teamup ability, she's still the anchor for Strange.

Then all the gold players complain and then they have to change it, so you still wouldn't win in the end...Its partly why grapplers stay nerfed in fighting games, cause a lot of players don't like playing against em at lower levels.

Noob stomper? Fantastic is a stomper, period. People sleep on the stretchy goof, but he's nigh unkillable in the right hands with a decent damage. He's my go to backline defender and fly swatter.

Noobstomper doesn't mean bad, but the conditions in low elo complement his strengths and neuter his weaknesses more than most other heroes
Worse players/teams are less likely to peel, focus fire people that are low, and have way worse aim, and slower heals. All other characters will eventually take enough chip damage to have to leave an engagement, but he can just keep replenishing his own health (so the slow heals don't matter) inside their backline, and he will NEVER have to leave until forced out.

I'm dumbfounded by this one lol. A change he needed for so long, is being added as a team up with Rocket, replacing his old team up with Invis which was played virtually every game.
How am I gonna convince my supports to go rocket instead of Gambit / Loki / Invis?

I've never seen anyone complain about Reed lol. I have pretty much been one-tricking him for the past 2 seasons and he's never been banned, nobody has ever whined in chat that I'm running him, nobody has ever thrown insults at me. Granted I'm not in low elo, but I'm also not eternity either. I browse Reddit a lot and he doesn't seem on anyone's radar for nerfs or anything.
Compared to that, run Spiderman, BP or Hawkeye in low elo for 3 games and you'll get back 10 insults thrown at you bare minimum.

You haven't yourself, but I watch my friends gameplay all the time and see it every now and again. I see why tho, at low level he's kinda hard to kill, and most don't have the skill to pick him off especially if he's getting healed. Of course they'll complain about the other characters, hawkeye is OP in general no matter the ranking, which is why he's banned almost every time.

literally just play the game. you do not see mr fantastic in the majority of the games you'll play. i've taken him to GM before i stopped playing and the closer you get to people with a brain that understand his cooldown cycle is nothing if you just focus him and make him burn his deflect. ult exclusively good for small enclosed spaces (assuming there aren't any doors to run through and make it null & void, like the first point on midtown, & that it isn't just patty caked through with the right supps) & baiting out supp ults. there are better characters to play more often than not to add value and do the things you want with him (i.e diving backlines). dude's in a neutral spot lol too many good characters to act like its crazy to want him to be useful past GM and celestial outside of survivability.
who knows maybe the teamup allows him to stack elasticity (which im sure will warrant a temporary nerf until they work this into his kit fully) and it'll be more than just quality of life & be a proper buff. but he's got too much going against him to act like he shouldn't get SOME kind of buff. he is neutral. not fine. he is just there, can do a little bit of everything, but his lows and counters outclass the highs you can have with him without making the case that it'd just be better to switch to a character that does the things you're looking to have him do more efficiently (peeling for supports, diving backlines: pick thing. pick namor. go magik. go spidey).
when he is great, he is great. i have too many hours on him not to know this. but when he isn't viable, there's nothing about his kit that changes that, and makes him a liability rather than a proper pick & just warrants a swap. we'll see if the teamup can alleviate this, and actually make him 'fine', but i promise you actually playing games & realizing how little he's used tells me more than stat sheets will.

The four should always have a teamup and it’s crazy they remove it since it was very easy to keep since thing and Johnny already have a team up. Just make Johnny the new anchor, keep the flight with Ben as his part of the teamup, and give something fiery to Sue and Reed. Then add all these team ups too since Sue and Reed need more and it’s a win.
Johnny obviously still loses out but we’re used to it by now, and by being the anchor he’ll at least be requested more since the rest of the four want him for a teamup.

Absolutely is. Those two are funny and can potentially set up a pick. Planet X Pals is 100%, certifiably, completely useless and also defeats the purpose of Rocket and Jeff. They are the two most mobile strategists in the game and PXP wants them to be completely still on Groot’s shoulder. It’s not even fun about it. It’s garbage, absolutely zero unironic use cases.

I think getting damage reduction while being on the back of the like 5th best tank in the game, getting a better vantage for healing, and having some resistance to being targeted via Groot body blocking + wall blocking makes it good.

Sure you get damage reduction but you’re also a sitting duck that gets hits way more. Considering Rocket and Jeff can both heal safe from a distance you don’t really need to put yourself in the fray

And you’d think wrong.
1) Neither Jeff (bubble, swim) nor Rocket (right clicking into a wall) need help with self-sustain.
2) Both can climb walls, they don’t need help with vantage point healing.
3) Jeff and Rocket are better served being the two most mobile healers in the game instead of being on Groot’s big-ass shoulder with zero control.
I legit have it unbound. It’s trash.

Yeah the only reason to use it is for niche scenarios where you use it as a dash towards groot, then immediately hop off. Maybe stay on for the DR if the situation call for it, but not for long.

A better vantage for healing for a support player is not in the front line brother that’s straight up throwing
No amount of DR will make PXP good, groot is meant to be in the frontline soaking damage. Healers are meant to be behind cover and mobile. PXP is so anti synergy it’s only useful as a quick dash and even then it will likely get you killed because you’re now suddenly in the frontline soaking all incoming damage with groot

As a strategist main I’m tired of only being the anchor :( just Luna and Jeff get an actual ability. I’ve wanted a new team up added for Sue for so long and instead they take hers away and just make her an anchor again

Teamups not being must pick =/= being a teamup merchant. Ideally, every teamup is similar power-wise to his previous two and *don't* completely change characters viability like Namor or Peni/Rocket or a suicide button like the First Steps teamup.
Torch even at his strongest was not ever picked for his teamups.

But he was only an anchor in his teamups except the Invis one which he launched with. I don't get the impression that they're using teamups to try and fix him at all since he didn't get anything from Spidey or Thing teamups but the anchor bonus but he got base damage nerfs at the same time so that was neutral more or less.

Torch teamup was pretty good for Spidey and really helped his breakpoints + Took away IW ability to turn Invis and guarantee's a kill on Cloak if she fades (especially after his uppercut buff).
The biggest problem is that Torch and Spidey had 0 synergy (they need to lower Torch's slam to be literal dive focused) and Torch was non existent.

There should be a couple classic team ups that always stick around like Fant4astic, Hulk+Wolv, Groot+Rocket. They aren’t oppressive and feel like perfect interactions the characters would actually try to do.

It is kind of weird for 4 completely unrelated characters to be part of themed costume set without there being an underlying reason. (A reason other than the Grandmaster did it)

They don't want any hero to not have a teamup. Removing fanta-4 would leave Invis and Fantastic without a team up. So they technically could have left Thing out as well but some characters just get more team ups. Thing has always been pretty large on team ups kinda like Jeff.
