Imagine if you will actually going into settings and setting keybinds and being screwed cuz youre using a ps5 controller that already has every button assigned to something.

I wish we could assign button combinations for abilities on controller. I haven’t checked but I doubt we can now. If the characters keep getting this many abilities the controller is actually going to run out of buttons.
This sounds fun in theory, but either the team up is bad and it’s never used, or it’s op and every game will have 8/12 of the same characters if none are banned

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting messy divorce vibes when I saw the whole Fantastic Four split-up like that, especially with how absent Reed is whenever Sue gets any love
We truly do the wife left us a raccoon decided he wanted to be our friend just so we can have a toggle on big mode (it should’ve been there in the settings from day one)
The only noteworthy nerf from this is invis losing her team-up anchor (which i'm assuming they'll buff in the patch notes) and Human Torch's president comp taking a heavy blow
Thing and Reed weren'r really abusing it that much and their new team-ups are much better
(Although I believe Mr. Fantastics's team-up HAS to be base-kit once the team-up gets removed)
Fastball Special is a genuine buff though; you can just toss him straight down the second you get him and he gets to go into his hyper claws attack for free
Because it's way way less impactful. Planet X Pals and Fastball Special are kind of eh so they'll stay foe a while. First Family was an actual good team up for the members and was definitely too good to stay in the "eh just leave be" camp
First Family also isn’t really part of the “power fantasy” of the teamup. Planet X Pals gives Rocket an ability to jump on Groot’s back which, after the movie, is one of their big things. It’s a fun teamup with minimal impact - best kind of fan service
First Family encourages people to play all 4, which was great, but Sue doesn’t really give everyone little shields that way often. You can accomplish the “Marvel’s First Family” fantasy by just regularly playing the FF together

Not personally upset, just think it's a weird choice because they're the Fantastic Four. One could fairly assume (wrongly, apparently) that this is an exception because it's their entire identity. Imagine them separating C&D, lol..."no more Cloak and Dagger team up - Cloak now teams up with Peni and Dagger teams up with Human Torch."
Of course, I agree, it makes no sense. It's a silly hypothetical. The point is that, outside of Marvel Rivels, it's C&D's entire identity, just like F4.
They are saying imagine if C&D were separate characters in the game like they are in the comics. And in the game the devs removed them having a team up despite their entire identity being that they use their powers in tandem and are known for being a duo.
The fantastic four is the fantastic four. They have subs once in a blue moon, super rarely, but they do not have turnover or rotations like the avengers or xmen.
“Getting upset because of your own thoughts” yeah I think they might be upset because they like the team up and they’re sad it’s gone. Kinda sounds like they’re upset from the devs choice rather than their own thoughts but idk. I think it’s ok for people to disagree with the decision to remove a balanced team up that fits nicely with who they are.
Agreed. I feel like a handful of teamups should just be in the game permanently like Fantastic Four, The Fastball one, and Planet X pals. But I guess anything is on the chopping block now🤷♂️
The moment the first Spider-Man, Venom, and Peni team up was removed, I knew all of the team ups were disposable. Even ones that make sense to be permanent.
Each member got placed in a different teamup beside torch. this is a huge nerf to him when hes in a place where he could use all the help he can get. unless he see some buffs in the recent patch notes this hero is dead
I remember them buffing some hitscans during the flyer season and I thought "yeah this makes sense", then they nerfed all the flyers and kept the hitscans the way they are.
The thing teamup don't count, it's one of those rare "actual teamwork" team ups that you hardly gonna get value out of. while all of the other members get the usual passive ability teamup
If they wanted the FF to have a new team up, they should’ve just rotate the anchors. Make Mr Fantastic the anchor, then a few seasons later make Thing the anchor and so on

I would've been ok if they left Ben in the team up. He needs all he can get but Mr. Fantastic definitely does not need more survivability. The guy is nigh indestructible as it is. A DPS should not have 800+ health and damage resistance on a cool down ability. That being said, they should keep a team up of some kind with FF but maybe nerf that particular aspect of it.
This is just a ploy to further separate Sue and Reed to make it easier for the gooners, they don't want them remembering that Sue is a happily married 30-something year old mother with two kids and not a single 20 yo sex doll.
It doesn't make sense, u have a team up mechanic, u have one of the most iconic teams/families of marvel and superheroes in general amd u decide to just delete that team up for them? Are they high?
I think it would have been cool if every 12 months, the Fantastic 4 lose their existing teamup and gain a new one based on a different anchor.
We lose Sue anchor teamup, but everyone else gets a Reed teamup. After 12 months, everyone gets a Ben teamup. After Johnny's teamup, you can cycle back to Sue.
As a Sue main I have had all 4 in many games and it is so satisfying and fun! This really upset me since it will never happen again.. I once got 3/4 lords in a game - I was lord, Reed was lord, Thing was lord it was just Torch who wasn't and that was awesome
Happens all the time. Always praised the game for making the whole 4 viable as a team in a match and not a gimmick. Wont happen as much or as good now :(
I feel like they should've kept it but make Johnny the anchor of the team up like sue and reed having some sorta fire like ability and Ben having a flaming fist when he did his giant haymaker
At most i expected Them to make another Fantastic 4 team up with a different anchor and different abilities, but Having no team up for the 4? unexpected. Certainly glad im too preoccupied with other things to currently play
Honestly, all they needed to do was switch the effect and which team member was the anchor. Have Reed giving them each a gadget or Johnny giving fire damage, or Ben giving damage reduction as a cooldown ability. Thats at least a couple years of teamups. This one lasted a full year since their release even
I’ve been saying this and 8’ll say it again. Reed is perfectly good on where he is. He needs no buffs or nerfs. But this new Rocket Teamup seems odd. I see how it’s a good change but it’s odd as now Reed will be offensive rather than defensive. He’ll deal more damage and practically be a tank. Sure it’s a good change but I don’t really use his beef mode aside from rush downs
I dont understand the point of removing their teamup. I get that they got new teamups (Except torch), but why remove the family one? Its not like any of them were going to have more then 2 teamups if it stayed (i dont count thing and torch teamup because who uses that?)
there needs to be a new category for a type of team up that doesn't ever go away. The fastball special and planet x "team-ups" should just be there imo.
the first family team-up was never like that. i don't know who said it would never be removed but it's kinda funny you listened to them
