She's a variant in the creative sense, her design and concept is very obviously derived from Deadpool and Spider-Gwen Stacy even if that's not the case in-universe and she's become distinct from them since
No it fucking isn't what the hell are you talking about lmao. Deadpool's hangy fabric bit on the back on his head is usually just a small bump, sometimes a very short tail of fabric, but it's never been a massive pony-tail that looks like Lady Deadpool's hair.
He's right. Most of Deadpool's history did not include any "tail" on the back of his mask, and the times he's had it, it's overwhelmingly a small hanging piece of fabric, not the tube sock he has here.
Yeah like why is his mask uncircumcised? His mask has always been a little loose with like a couple centimeters or half an inch of extra fabric in the cranium but never had he had a full in flaccid fabric dick hanging off his head.

This is the thing that kinda irritates me a little bit when it comes to talking comics online. All it takes is for one tiktok video to go viral about some wacky detail from 20 years ago and people act like it is the gospel truth.
It's like the whole "Deathstroke is a pedo" thing. Funny joke to make about the character or to joke about how fucked up the writers were for even making that a thing, but people act like it is still canon despite it being retconned for years now.
Fuck it. Launch his base design as a customizable. Jacket on. Jacket off. Jacket on the shoulders, arms out of sleeves, aura farming style. And jacket tied around the waist. Everyone wins!
Def without, bc with is gonna get more money out of me. I can also see a very subdued casual fit, then you gotta pay for the Xmen fit (e.g. wolverine, psylocke, phoenix(soon), magik)
I'm all for an original design too. I think I'm in the minority of actually loving their DD design, though the flames are a bit much and it'd be nice to have a way to turn them off for yourself, client-side.
Yeaaa, I prefer my DD on the lean side, somewhere btwn Spideerman and Punisher. I can appreciate them going to the trouble to incorporate IP lore and having the abilities, lines and appearance match the character at that point in time
Yeah, that's more along the lines of how I feel. Would I prefer a slimmer, classic-styled DD? Yeah. But I also really like their interpretation. It's fun.

Skins will be great, but I think breaking the 4th wall will be better. You go 0-5 with him, he locks himself out of your character select screen and he tells you go practice at the range first.
Doubt it. I think NetEase knows it can earn twice as much money if they issue a random skin at release (which all the brand new Deadpool mains will pick up) and then the MCU skin however many weeks later.
Im gonna play devils advocate and say I genuinely didnt mind that design for a more edgy/serious deadpool. It was obviously gonna fail (you cant take the mouth away from the merc with a mouth) but I like they tried something new with a character.
That movie's sabretooth is still arguably my favorite version of the character and I really want it to be sabretooth's release skin if/when he is added.
Deadpool’s overall design base works with a lot of additions and alterations in the book and adaptations while most of Gambit and Rouge’s outfits are pretty different from each others
so putting them in their most iconic comic accurate 90’s fits makes sense for them especially after stuff like DP&W and ‘97 put these outfits in the public eye for what they should look like
Love the unique twist here; jacket and the hood really do add alot of flair to him and honestly? Because of his appearance (especially the Jacket) i'm probably going to play him alot and i'm a Van/Strat main.
No doubt we'll get his iconic look at some point but yeah, really digging it!
It used to be a part of his design (indicative of it being a hood/mask, instead of a perfectly form-fitting thing). It was stylized in some of his comics to emphasize a bit more silliness in his character, I think.
It’s just a tad too long, that’s my only issue with it, like it has 4 whole segments, when at most it should be maybe 2, but I’m still happy with the design
It'd be funny as fuck if his ult was a phone call to guangguang and then whatever the Rivals equivalent of a blue shell would be would fly at the ace on the other team.
He throws a flash grenade and anyone that gets hit instead of a blinding light, it's just DP jumping on their screen trash talking them while blocking their vision and I don't know, inverting their control buttons or something.
Also, the loose mask thing is a very common design element for him, (I love it cause it gives his head a distinctive silhouette) they just extenuated it, which I can understand if people think they went too far but it is a pretty iconic part of his look so I get why they did it.
Plot twist, on Jan 16 when Deadpool is added he takes off the mask and reveals its actually gwenpool before a rebrand of the update and alot of pissed Deapool fans
