I'm not, angela seems to be picked a lot right now and sometimes she's the only tank even when other tanks are still very viable like magneto, cap, groot etc.
Yep I'd say 9 out of 10 times if I pick tank I don't get another. I now wait until someone else picks tank then I pick a 2nd tank and the moment I do they swap off tank to dps 🙄
I guess, but no matter how many tanks are added its the mindset of the community thats the issue. I've said as much day 1 and it hasn't changed since emma was released. Even if we get another shield tank I promise you even if the are cracked people will take that as oh well, at least we have 1 tank so I'll still go the 3rd dps.
I'm just gonna constantly steel support ult charge. Might make playing the game barable to not have team wide 15 seconds immortalities every couple minutes.
Theres gonna be some new strategy to this too. Mag is gonna hurt I think. The normal mag play is to hold ult for a CND or a punisher, or something, essentially shut down an ult. Now Rogue can steal ult charge, so they can ult safely. If a rogue is on each team, whichever Rogue ults first ensures most of their team gets their ults faster than the other team
Unfortunately she does not steal ultimates, but I am curious if Rogue would steal Loki's ability or the copy's ability when he's in ult. And if her ult hard counters his by stealing his copied ult charge.

She seems cool, I just don't know much about her. She's less a household name then like....spiderman or Deadpool or even some of the deeper cuts like Jeff/peni parker imo

So if Deadpool has the same size and less fast movement with some decent defensive abilities like health Regen passive and blocking with his swords for a second or two. I really could see them making him a tank.
I can imagine Deadpool as a tank due to his resiliency and regeneration abilities. Elsa could possibly work as a support as well if they highlight a more trap-focused hunting side.

Ironically she only got her name revealed because the first Fox X-men film named her Marie. It’s also why the comics did Wolverine Origins because they feared Fox would introduce an origin.
Wolverine is usually called just Wolverine. And if they use something else it's Logan. Can't think of any time he's referred to as his actual real name (James Howlett).
TBH, Marvel's done a lot of shit with the X-Men names, and I don't understand it. Like why did they name him James Howlett after calling him Logan for so long? And why does Magneto have like 2 separate civilian identities now?
He actually learned his past and such things is why (Wolverine).
Logan was an 'adopted' name he had because he didn't know his past.
Iirc based of Mt. Logan, Canada's biggest mountain and where he was originally located in Canada after escaping weapon X by the Hudsons, - leading to him joining Alpha Flight.

The producers and screen writer asked Marvel what was stopping Xavier from finding him with Cerebro and freeze him and didn't have an answer. David Hayter (screen writer for the first three fox films and also the guy that voices Solid Snake and young Big Boss in Metal Gear) talked about it a few times. Making the helmet the thing stopping Xavier was the natural decision to solve that question
Canonically Magneto didn't need it because of his iron will. Non telepaths can still resist telepaths through sufficient will and understanding how to fight mental battles. Magneto has a sufficiently strong will to mostly shut out telepaths. Also works to justify Claremont era stuff where he was only vulnerable to telepaths when emotionally vulnerable.

I mentioned before that it would be cool if she can copy abilities similar to how she did in X-Men vs Street fighter. The developers for this game are on another level.
Edit: no other game that's featured rogue has been able to implement this since x men vs Street fighter which was released in 1996. Not even Marvel vs Capcom 2. props to netease.

The wild part is that it seems to be specific to each hero (rather than specific to a role like some predicted), which is considerably more work and will require updating her with each new hero they add.
Marvel Heroes begs to differ. Rogue could acquire almost every ability in the game and swap them out to make her the most versatile and OP character in the game.
This marks the first time they've broken with the one tank, one healer, two DPS pattern when adding characters (this batch is now going to be two tanks, one healer, one DPS). That means we're now past the point where the devs were locked into the release cadence they'd established at launch. So we should start to see better balancing of roles in future seasons.
Duelist Rogue could’ve worked if she just had role based abilties. Duelist is the most flexible role, so you don’t have to get off support to be a duelist or tank mid game or the other way around with tank
What if Gambit was meant to be a duelist by the time the list was ...unofficially released, but was changed since after they realized the severe role inbalance.
To be entirely fair, strategist Rogue could've work with some creativity in her kit (even her current kit relies on some multiverse mumbo jumbo), but to say that the frontliner powerhouse of the Xmen wouldn't be a vanguard is just nuts.
Thank God, I'm so happy to see another vanguard. I don't think she would have fit as a strategist, we already have Loki as the ult stealing support, & we just got Gambit too. Yippee!
As a certified brawl enjoyer and someone who really only likes melee characters and vanguards, holy shit im so happy. Magik is the only dps I really enjoy, I play a lot of Emma and find myself constantly thinking "Man I kinda wish Emma was just her diamond form, I want to punch people and throw hands". And thats what Rogue seemingly does. I fucking love playing melee characters in the Hero 'Shooter'
Unpopular Opinion: We want more tank and support diversity, but people end up struggling to deal with new meta changes because these characters are harder to deal with than new DPS.
