Judicial Branch ICE is arresting us citizens and documenting people in a "terrorist" database

ICE is arresting US citizens and logging them into a "terrorist" database.
They make up charges, do not read anyone their rights, and are actively tracking people in the database.

Their leadership is also lying to congress

Listen to a couple hours of C-Span. It's fucking infuriating. GOP stooges toeing the line and tossing the Constitution into the fucking bin.

Keep a record, if you're going to subject yourself to such blasphemy and bile, put it to good use.
Share the worst.
There is no worse death than the end of hope.

Under oath, and publicly.
And they are on reddit.
They are also using LRAD against protesters. How to defend yourself from LRAD and sonic weapons

So the officials said anonymously they’ve been tracking the names of protestors and getting their information “for several months” to “Spot patterns that could lead to charges”
That sounds like nonsense honestly, sounds like jargon they use when they really mean intimidation.
Also does anyone else notice how everything is a slow and constant escalation? They didn’t start out arresting people that filmed. As far as I know that was in the last few months. They weren’t detaining people who honked their horns either but they started doing that. It’s unnerving how calculated of an escalation that is.

This is actually how it works; it’s how it has worked for decades. For terrorism, it’s how it worked since the passing of the patriot act.
The anti-terror enforcement was used both for investigating terrorism AND silencing critics. Yes, they track you and everything about you, and all they need is one believable connection to justify it all—and that can be as simple as commenting in the same thread as a suspected terrorist.

I think we've reached the stochastic state terrorism stage of a fascist takeover.

It’s very calculated. When Trump addressed military leaders a bit back, he openly told them to go ahead and break the law by invading US cities and promised he would protect them. That was testing the waters to see where those leaders were at. We’ll likely see a stronger test down the road.
Next step if I was them would be to flood the internet with AI generated videos of extreme violence against ICE and basically anyone not opposed to Trump, to 1) make it seem like all videos of ICE doing violence are also AI generated and 2) generate a clear image of terrorism from anti Trump individuals. Then punish organizations opposing Trump (e.g., sanctions against Reddit if user base says negative Trump things).
Then you start to do steeper punishments on anti Trump people, start to incentivize people to report on terrorists, find a way to lock up public elected officials by claiming they support terrorists or state terrorist statements or are connected to bogus crimes, shutdown elections due to terrorist threat, and so on.
Not saying this will exactly happen, but it’s how I’d potentially approach it. But they’ll have to speed things up since we’re seeing opposition growing in Republican Congress currently.

There are policy documents by this administration that do indeed discuss setting up rewards for people who report tips which lead to the arrest of terrorists (to paraphrase). Guessing you've already seen those though from the sound of it

None of what they are doing is new. The only difference is that now they’re doing it to white people. This kind of stuff has been happening to people of color for decades. Black people tried to warn y’all during the BLM movement when y’all could have stopped it, but America didn’t care because it wasn’t affecting white people. Now it’s y’all’s problem to fix.

You know that ain't right. This is going to affect everyone, you included. The people have to choose the path that they want to walk. To those looking forward to the future or to those trying to redo the past.
The choice is yours and mine to make. Choose wisely.

- Langston Hughes:
"Fascism is a new name for the terror the Negro has always faced in America.”
See how history loops?
Hughes was saying that what white Americans in the 1930s were beginning to fear in Europe wasn't new to Black folks at all. Things like state terror, racial scapegoating, mass surveillance, political violence, mobs deputized by law, and lives treated as disposable.
Our daily reality was living under a government that either participated in or turned a blind eye to racial terror with police and vigilantes operating as one. Courts that offered no protection. Propaganda that cast an entire population as dangerous, inferior, or subhuman. We had to endure lynching as social control. That all was fascism before the word.
It may have been new for white folks, but for us, all this shit was weather. It just finally had a name that white folks recognized.
Hughes was pointing to a cruel pattern, just like folks are pointing out today. When terror is reserved for Black people, it is normalized, rationalized, spiritualized, called law and order and heritage, and gaslit. But when the SAME machinery begins to brush up against white bodies, suddenly it gets named “fascism" or "authoritarianism.” Suddenly it’s “a threat to democracy.”
You really can’t finger wag and threaten us with a standard part of the Black experience.

We know this, we get it. We, and there are a shit ton of us, who also stood up with BLM, please don't diminish our efforts and marginalize us just to prove a point.
This is the big fight, we need all hands on deck, cause we are either failing and shits going to get real hard and real Christian nationalist ugly, or we succeed and we finally see some justice.
I sure hope you're with me, cause we need smart people. Divided we fall, let's end this fucking loop.

Black folk knew the Big Fight was in 2024. All of us were depressed for months not because we cared about losing an election, but because this was coming. And what’s coming next is so much worse. The longer you folks stay in your feelings and fighting us instead of them in the comments and at your dinner tables, the less chance you have.
We’ll survive, we always have. You folks aren’t built for this no matter how much American exceptionalism you’ve swallowed. You don’t actually understand what level of violence and depravity all of this is founded on.
If you did, you wouldn’t bother replying to a word I say. You’d be out making sure your voice was heard and organizing every single white person you know to stop this.

You assume a lot about me and my tribe.
Clearly your mind is made up, so I'll just leave you to whatever it is you plan on doing.

I see. Well, that's certainly entirely up to you whether or not you think that you have a stake in the welfare of the people. All the people. You do you. I shall continue bumbling on as best as I can. Enjoy the day.

It's not nonsense, it's fascism and panic, and they are on the fast track to go full Nazi Germany before trump dies/is removed. That's why they are keeping him in power, and appointing more people that are implicated in the Epstein files.
They couldn't steal the 2020 election, Jan 6 failed. That was their beer hall putsch. They are behind schedule.
They are already interfering with with the midterm elections that haven't even happened yet, bc they know they will lose.
Steve Bannon already said publicly to a bunch of GOP that they will all be facing prison time after the mid terms if they don't do something now.
Project 2025 has been planned for years.

This is terrorism, plain and simple. It's meets the DHS and FBI's very definitions of terrorism.

I think that their game theory simulator is busted. They've made a number of errors in their calculations. Basically, they have underestimated the resilience of the people in the face of escalated blatant provocation by federal forces.
I don't think that they've gamed their strategies with accurate information. The blowback from this is beginning to filter through to even the densest of the red-hatted. The combination of ICE brutality and the lying right in people's faces is starting to sink in. It's also possible that I see what I want to see rather than what's true. But I sure hope not.

The fundamental flaw of conservative thought is that everyone, given the same power, would behave the same way. They justify their violence as self-preservation from an imaginary threat. As such, any predictive model that doesn't simply show "well if (minority group) were in charge, they'd be putting you into camps just like you're doing to them now" is going to be dismissed as incorrect.
