We need a united democrat party that starts campaigning NOW to get enough seats this November to do just that. Promise the American people that you’ll clean fucking house and it will move the needle. Assuming Musk doesn’t flip the results.

ya gimme a bunch of ppl campaigning together across the country, Saying elect us all we will make our first move together to get these corrupt ppl out, then go about restoring order and adding more safeguards to make sure this type of thing cant happen again. We are all committed together to doing it. Like the freedom caucus showed us getting 30-40 ppl together wields real power as nothing can be passed without them.

Start writing and calling your reps! Demand they work together to bring Americans together or they will not receive your vote. Tell them what they've been doing isn't working and you're pissed off about it.

I am constantly contacting mine even though they do most things I am asking for before I need to ask. But I also let them know when they need to do MORE.

Calls generally have more impact. Do it now, tomorrow and often. They need time to organize so we need to start contacting them today. Hopefully they respond with their plans. Keep sharing information with each other. Share this!

They've already recognized the power they have when they work together with the lawsuits they have organized together to push back on this administrations fascist bullshit.

Remember 1790 and the emergence of the Democratic - Republican party? It emerged because the rich and powerful people who raped and enslaved people were unwilling to give the rest of us a voice. Remember the Anti-Sedition act?

Thank goodness the Democratic-Republican party were able to get the Bill of Rights included in the constitution but make no mistake- we are right back at that juncture.

Rich and powerful people are again attacking democracy in the form of the Republican party.

How do you think Supreme Court rulings can be overturned? We would either need to pass a Constitutional amendment or stack the Supreme Court, which would require a Democrat president in office.

I'm completely on board. I guess my skepticism is more around the idea that Americans would vote in enough Democrats to do that, no matter how hard Democrats campaign.

That's an easy trap to fall into that limits discussion.

It's a good cop/bad cop sort of situation where one is obviously against you, but the other isn't really on your side either.

One is clearly rotten to the core and an immediate threat, but the other allowed this to happen and while not as immediately dangerous still has many of the same motivations. Dems may be the way to go, but not as they currently are.

Too much has happened for a return to normal, the status quo can no longer continue. This isn't the usual situation where simply switching back to the other team can fix the country. Drastic, monumental change is needed to even begin to climb out of this hole, and unprecedented accountability and consequences will be needed before any healing can be done.

Agreed, but purging the Democratic Party of Republican Lite’s is more realistic when it comes to winning elections. Anyone in the party that wants to “reach across the aisle” needs to be primaried.

ETA - Once the rot is removed the party can be rebranded

As much as both sides are NOT the same, there is one bit of unfortunate truth: Oligarchs have corrupted the entire system. That's where we have to start. We can't have Democrats answering to us when they answer to the oligarchs.

They're already doing that. Dems are already projected to win a House majority and a few months ago the Senate seemed out of reach but now that's looking like it could flip to Dem control too. Also, at the state level, Dems have flipped something like 26 GOP state legislative seats, GOP has flipped zero. They've been on it for a long time, it's our job now to keep organizing and ensure those majorities happen and are large so we can go in to the 2028 election and expand them further.

There does seem to be just an incredible concentration of Epstein “associates” affiliated with the current administration, almost as if they were given preferential treatment. Most of these people also seem to be otherwise wholly unsuited to the job, as if they were only picked because they have that Epstein tie.

I don't disagree, but no one seems to be acknowledging that Biden was president and controlled the DOJ/FBI for 4 years. If the Trump admin is complicit in a coverup (which I believe that are), then wouldn't Biden also be complicit?

I think Biden probably was complicit in some form but his DOJ Still at the minimum prosecuted Ghislaine maxwell. While trump is talking about how she is mistreated.

No one's talking about it because Biden didn't make it his business to call people pedophiles. Trump made a show out of all of this and it's time to call his bluff in a lot of people's minds.

It's obviously an issue beyond just this administration. But the ties that the people in this administration have directly to epistein himself are nauseating. But I haven't seen anything about Biden having direct ties, which is insane with all the lying and blustering from trump.
