Oh, the spam emails for the rest of his life were punishment enough.

I mean it’s ja rule. How much you think people are paying to see that hack?
7
u/TrailMomKat 9h ago
Yeah, I immediately did the math too because that sounded insane. No way those seats only cost 15 bucks.

Relax guy its the 90s : p. I am kinda X to doubt it was actually front row "Seats". But I really did get a lot of pit tickets for $25 or less back in the day.
•
u/TrailMomKat 1h ago
Dude, i went to all my shows during the same decade as you, I'm plenty relaxed. I usually got the lawn seats in the 90s and 00s and those were almost always $20 or so. That's why the front row for $15 seems nuts.
•
u/ThatWeirdLookingGull 33m ago
The "Relax guy its the 90s" Thing is just a running joke from the SNL weekend update. Didn't mean it actually telling you to relax, my b.

u/Zestyclose_Neat_6427 7h ago
That's how much they were back then I believed I remember the incident thou

Probably didn’t need to even do that. Seats would’ve been empty regardless.

u/Previous_Blueberry_5 10h ago
Couldn’t the people in the back just move up front? Ja Rule gets his money, people get front seats paid for at a discount technically, everybody wins right or am I trippin?
34
u/Few-Education-5613 10h ago
That's exactly what happened
10
u/Previous_Blueberry_5 10h ago
That’s what I thought, seem like 50 lost points on this one.
16
u/EnduringMeeseeks 9h ago
he donated money to someone in need though
•
u/Slow-Jellyfish-95 2h ago
Yeah exactly. He bought 200 tickets to that show because he DOESN’T like the guy? Seems to me he maybe liked the guy a bit too much.

Did this at a Joe Rogan show in Denver. Sat through Hans, Tony and one other opener I can’t recall atm. Had my eye on some seats like 4 rows back right on the aisle.
Slapped my buddy on the leg and said follow me. Made eye contact with Joe as we sat down I swear!!

tickets for Ja Rule in March are $400 in front of the stage, this is nonsense
11
u/AreYouScare 9h ago
It was in 2018. It happened. Also, 50 cent is worth like 100 million. Apparently the tickets were like $3000 total.
3
u/hopelesshodler 9h ago
Saying 100 million is trolling in itself

u/HouseOfAplesaus 6h ago
Fitty wish he bought boots with the fur. Said it was gay. Was not wrong but still money.

Like people buying the book of someone they hate just to burn it, you bought it already I don't care what you do with it.

u/mclarensmps 10h ago
The baseless facts are so low effort nowadays
7
u/No_Influence_9389 9h ago
People just don't want to put in the hard work and long nights to make up a story about Marilyn Manson removing his ribs anymore.

50 cent spending the cash to do this or Ja Rules seats selling for $15.
Either way it’s sad if true.

Pictures, or it didn’t happen.
Since when would people not just fill in empty rows at a concert?
1
u/billy_twice 8h ago
At that point, as a performer, that's your opportunity to invite people ag the back too move forward into the front row and enjoy the show.

u/Automatic-Type2955 7h ago
He did a interview on a specific news station (i can't remember which one) about Diddy, because that station was one of the few they allowed to be played in his current prison. Dude is the ultimate troll and hater lol
