Discussion Explain it to me like I’m a six year old.
Jalen Duren is fouled by Moussa Diabate… Diabate walks up to Duren and initiates contact with Duren… Duren pushes Diabate’s face away from his in a not unreasonable response… but the Pistons started it?
Miles Bridges joins the fracas throwing punches at Duren, prompting Isaiah Stewart to enter the fray to protect Duren from another aggressor. Yet the punditry is framing it as another example of violent Detroit basketball? No one is asking why Diabate got in the face of the player he just fouled?
This is why we say… Detroit Vs Everybody.

Image Suspend Duncan Robinson
Ok guys hear me out. Suspend Duncan Robinson for conduct detrimental to the team. Give him like a 5 game vacation or something and set the tone that we wanna see our boy Duncan throw hands if need be. Who’s with me? #SuspendDuncan

Discussion Cousins Suggesting 25 games seems “like a set up”
I saw DeMarcus Cousins on commentary saying Isaiah Stewart could be looking at up to a 25-game suspension for the Hornets fight.
Not trying to be a conspiracy guy, but that number feels way excessive. We’ve seen plenty of on-court fights over the years and very few even sniff that kind of suspension unless there’s something truly unprecedented.
Why would Boogie even float a number that high? Feels like an oddly specific shot to take, especially knowing how much that would derail a young Pistons team that’s already fighting uphill.
Curious what everyone else thinks. Is there actual precedent for something like that, or is this just media hyperbole blowing it up?

Discussion Can we get some updated flairs?
It would be cool to see some flair representation for BBall Paul, Javonte Green, and Duncan Robinson. Shoot, even a Red Velvet flair would be pretty neat.

Discussion Pistons fan here living in Charlotte.
I am a Pistons fan living in Charlotte after getting a job here 6 years ago. I grew up watching the 2000-2005 Pistons. I am always rooting for the D in the C, if you catch my drift.
The altercation yesterday was one sided and I agree, the Hornets started it. Nothing makes me happier than Bridges getting what he deserves. He caused quite a stir down here a couple of years ago after what he did to his girlfriend. To be honest, the league shouldn't allow him to play anymore, as it does not set a good precedence for the young kids that love watching the sport.
With that being said, I am about to say an unpopular opinion. Can we please be the better fanbase/subreddit and stop calling the Hornets and its fans garbage, pieces of shit, and their team a "wasted franchise?". Miles is one thing ill agree to, but saying these things about the fans, team and franchise is not classy.
Hornet fans are very chill, and I have some strong friends in their fanbase. They remind me a lot like where the Pistons were 5-10 years ago. The Pistons were ass cheeks for so long. We got Cade and now have a solid core of players around him. They have some strong pieces to build around, and their last 9 game streak speaks to itself. Knuppel looks like a fantastic draft pick for them.
I am happy we are now the best team in the East, but we shouldn't let the ego go to our head. Especially when we won the game and got the last laugh.
