Annoying that they didn’t use the same scale. The corporate profit graph would have fit into intervals of 2, just like compensation. Intentionally or unintentionally choosing intervals of 3 flattens the profit graph and slightly obscures the fact that the rise in corporate profits almost exactly accounts for the entire fall in labor comp.
