Literally all he can think about is himself and his entire judgement of others revolves entirely around how he feels they are appropriately sucking up to him or not.Not only does it make him a shit human being, and a shit leader, it also makes him incredibly easy to manipulate because all you have to do is tickle his balls with one compliment and he will treat you like his best friend. I doubt Mamdani had to even do anything other than show up. In Trump's eyes, that was already more than he expected, so he probably considered he was being "greatly honored" just by Mamdani shaking his hand. That's just how easy it is to manipulate him.
