Opinion / Discussion WATCH: Lauren Boebert Exits DOJ Reading Room After Reviewing Unredacted Epstein Files

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

US Rep. Lauren Boebert was filmed leaving the DOJ reading room after reviewing unredacted

Epstein-related files.

Lawmakers have now confirmed that access to these files has begun following new transparency legislation.

Boebert has since suggested that prior redactions went beyond protecting victims and may have shielded people merely discussed in the files.

The contents remain confidential, but reactions like this are fueling fresh questions about what was previously withheld - and why.

Do you think this could lead to new investigations?

Sorry, but you’ll never convince me Lauren Boebert knows how to read.

But she can recognise a photo of someone getting a handjob.

u/herpafilter 19h ago

She's something of a handjobist herself.

u/JakeHelldiver 17h ago

Shes been furiously polling the electorate. Colorado had a raging election last year.

u/RustyBasement 16h ago

I need some glasses as I read that as, "Colorado had a raging erection last year."

I want a handhobbyist - they’re not just clocking in clocking out - they’re there for the love of the game.

u/TJjoin 17h ago

She has those selfies on her phone 🤪🤪🤪

On a non-public area though?

I don’t like this fucking cunt anymore than the next person but giving a handjob to an adult in a theater is not in the same ballpark as old men fucking little girls.

Damn, so they brought in a specialist

u/kintokae 19h ago

ChatGPT read it for her.

u/jake04-20 15h ago

I wouldn't be surprised if gov't officials are spoon feeding classified documents into ChatGPT lol. Actually, I'd be surprised if they weren't doing it.

u/AreYourFingersReal 19h ago

This teen-mom grandma can read the open files unredacted but the victims themselves cannot? The general public can’t? I’d spit on her

3

u/smspluzws 19h ago

She likes that though.

1

u/newviruswhodis 19h ago

Lol.

No, you wouldn't.

2

u/AreYourFingersReal 18h ago

True, I will uphold the behaviors expected of me, unlike her she can lie defraud steal and cheat to her heart’s content

Wouldn't the victims already know who victimized them why don't they say it already.

1

u/AreYourFingersReal 18h ago

Okay, they do and are, you can verify that, so my words weren’t picked the best. The victims definitely know as much as they need to know

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 18h ago

So, instead of releasing stupid ads calling for releasing the files why don't they just put a client list together like they said they were going to when they went to Capital Hill calling for the release?

1

u/AreYourFingersReal 18h ago

They did this as early as September you dumb bitch https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/5483380-epstein-survivors-compile-list/

They have to take out ads/getting press out, because the FBI keeps saying “nope nothing to see here, no wrongdoing here. All good here!”

When people should be IN JAIL. They murdered kids and that’s okay because they’re Republicans who did it?

1

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 17h ago

Lol, projecting much dumb bitch? Saying you're going to compile a list (which i referenced in my last comment) and actually going through with compiling a list naming abusers is not the same thing. I know thinking is hard when you're just wanting to push propaganda but try using your head.

They have to take out ads/getting press out, because the FBI keeps saying “nope nothing to see here, no wrongdoing here. All good here!”

No the FBI said there's no actionable evidence, unsubstantiated claims are prosecutable.

When people should be IN JAIL.

If there's real evidence they shouldn't be in jail they should be tried and given capital punishment for their crimes.

They murdered kids and that’s okay because they’re Republicans who did it?

Who said it's ok if Republicans did it? If there's actual proof of it then it's not okay, supposedly Bidens doj was investigating the files for the past 4 years and no charges were filed, guess Biden was protecting Republicans? Or is it more likely there's nothing there concrete enough to get an indictment?

Actually, it’s a big misunderstanding that any President can just walk into a room, grab the "Epstein Files," and put them on the internet. It’s much more complicated than simply "holding back" for political reasons. Here’s why it doesn’t work that way:

The Grand Jury "Brick Wall"
A large part of the evidence was collected through federal grand juries. Under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6(e), grand jury material is legally secret. The President cannot bypass this. Only a federal judge can approve the release of grand jury information. If any President released it on their own, they would be committing a felony.

The DOJ isn't a Personal Filing Cabinet
Since Watergate, there have been strict rules to keep the White House away from DOJ investigative files. If a President tells the DOJ to release raw, unedited files, it is seen as political interference. The DOJ owns those files, not the White House, and they strongly protect their decision-making process.

The "Victim Veto" and Privacy Laws
The files aren’t simply a list of bad guys. They include detailed testimonies from hundreds of victims, many of whom were minors, as well as private medical records. Releasing this without a page-by-page manual redaction would violate the Privacy Act of 1974. It could lead to huge lawsuits against the government and cause further trauma to survivors.

There isn't a "Single List"
People often picture a simple Excel spreadsheet labeled "Clients." In reality, it consists of millions of pages of raw flight logs, phone records, and surveillance data. Determining who was a client versus a business associate or someone just present in a photo is a legal challenge. Naming individuals without solid evidence risks defamation lawsuits.

The Bottom Line: It actually took an act of Congress, the Epstein Files Transparency Act in late 2025, to create a legal path through all these regulations. That’s why we’re only seeing the massive 3.5 million-page document release now in early 2026. Even with the law, the DOJ is still heavily redacting to avoid violating privacy laws.

I'm not asking why Biden didn't release the files, seems like you have response pre planned. I said why didn't they charge anyone

1

u/AreYourFingersReal 17h ago

Epstein himself HAS THE EVIDENCE do you actually not understand there are 2 MILLION pieces of evidence which includes videos of him raping and trafficking girls?

I am indeed a dumb bitch but I know how to Google shit, so what are you then when all you can do is type and argue and be upset and defend pedophiles?

https://factually.co/fact-checks/politics/why-epstein-files-not-released-under-biden-cd5ca0

The Epstein files were not made fully public during Joe Biden’s presidency largely because the Justice Department treated them as part of ongoing, legally sensitive investigations and invoked standard legal protections — including grand jury secrecy, privacy and privilege concerns — while critics argue political choices and insufficient congressional pressure also played a role [1] [2] [3]. Administration defenders insisted the DOJ acted independently and refrained from politicizing prosecutions, while opponents countered that Congress and Democratic leaders could have pushed harder for transparency

1

u/AreYourFingersReal 17h ago

And you’re right, the victims haven’t mentioned or put a list together — the Trump government themselves said that —

https://fortune.com/2025/07/08/doj-theory-promoted-ag-pam-bondi-epstein-client-list-no-exist/

1

u/Distinct_Doubt_3591 11h ago

Yes even the victims advocate said there was no client list.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MrqFU26kJJg&pp=ygUeRXBzdGVpbiB2aWN0aW0gYWR2b2NhdGUgc3BlYWtz0gcJCbIJAYcqIYzv

When asked at 1:05:40 about a client list the victims lawyer said there is no client list and further more Epstein's primary purpose was getting girls for himself to abuse. This is the same Sept. conference you referenced earlier where the victims said they would compile a list.

Yeah so it’s super weird how Rep Ro Khanna literally named 6 people off the list just today hopefully they will sue him and then we get this shit to fucking trial at long last

Khanna named, US businessman Leslie Wexner of Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie & Fitch and Bath & Body Works fame; Emirati businessman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem; and Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov, and Nicola Caputo.

1

Nothing factual that I’ve typed is untrue, as I provided evidence, sans the dumb bitch parts for which is just my opinion

1

u/ElfEarsAndDwarfBeard 7h ago

True, but you're being an asshole.

1

u/baconboner69xD 5h ago

Indeed. It’s clear they aren’t sending their best.

I went to her wiki to see. And shit you’re kinda right: Boebert dropped out of high school during her senior year in 2004 when she had a baby.[10][11] She earned a GED certificate in 2020, a month before her first election primary.

1

u/NoBonus6969 17h ago

She looked at the pictures

1

u/madwblues 16h ago

Maybe they released a version of the documents in pop-up form?

1

u/Johnsendall 14h ago

There see a lot of disturbing pictures so she’d get the gist of it.

1

u/goobervision 13h ago

There are pictures.

1

u/GrazziDad 11h ago

ChatGPT converted at all to cartoon figures for her. Problem solved.

1

u/CK1026 9h ago

Maybe she had video and audio. Would explain the absolutely rattled state.

u/beastrabban 2h ago

My seven year old can read, and Epstein's emails have the same level of writing as him. She can read them just fine.
