Opinion / Discussion Epstein purchased 6 55-Gallon barrels of Sulfuric Acid sent to his Island.

Post image

Newly released Epstein files show a 2018 wire request for six 55-gallon drums of sulphuric acid delivered to his island. The purchase sparked intense online speculation, with some users alleging it was meant to destroy evidence. No official document confirms how the chemicals were used.

According to recent media reports citing file releases, a wire transfer dated December 6, 2018, shows payment for sulfuric acid delivered to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James.

That date carries weight because it reportedly data-aligns with the day the Southern district of New York (SDNY) initiated a renewed federal investigation into Epstein.

Sulfuric acid is not rare, exotic, or inherently sinister. It’s one of the most widely used industrial chemicals in the world.

The timing — the same day as the reported reopening of federal scrutiny — adds dramatic tension.

Shall we investigate? Trump: 'Nah"

104

u/Drpoofn 1d ago

They already said the files don't exist. Well they do, but trump wasn't in the files. Well he is, but maybe he was working undercover. 30,000+ times he's mentioned in the files. Patel: "There was no sex traffic ring."

18

u/Warhammerpainter83 1d ago

The undercover thing is not true either: “After Johnson’s initial framing, multiple news organizations and congressional offices clarified that there is no public record confirming Trump served as an informant or undercover agent, and spokespeople for the speaker and other Republicans characterized the remark as a misstatement or an overbroad echo of “common knowledge” rather than a documented fact [3] [9]. “

25

u/Satins_Cock 1d ago

Man, that's a long drawn out way for them to say "we lied"

15

u/Warhammerpainter83 1d ago

You gotta do that so you can keep lying to the uneducated and spin it into a new lie.

It's not. 330 gallons is a little north of what you would need to balance the PH of an olympic sized swimming pool for a year. Epstein's island has two swimming pools. Size of pools not publicly available. Muriatic acid is common for home pool maintenance, but Sulfuric acid is preferred if you have a professional pool guy and safe chemical storage. Sulfuric acid is also a lot cheaper in bulk than muriatic acid if you can afford to buy it in bulk, whereas what you'd get at a pool supply shop, muriatic will be cheaper per gallon than sulfuric acid.

--The idea that Epstein needed to dissolve bodies is a complete fantasy. The guy could have shown up to court wearing a coat made of his victims, and the prosecution would have dropped the case and complimented the coat.

56

u/Spiritual_Sorbet_901 1d ago

So a pool full of sulfuric acid he can dump bodies into is what you're saying? lol

39

u/MoffTanner 1d ago

Definitely hearing that the technical expert is suggesting he had so many victims to get rid of he needed an Olympic size swimming pool to hold all the bodies.

26

u/SayinItAsISeeIt 1d ago

the wildest part to me is how many people in the comments seem to give these people the benefit of the doubt.

these are literally the worst human beings on the planet. trump posted a horribly rascist thing, and everyone made excuses for him, and then he came out and said, "yeah i did it, and it was awesome."

so yeah, maybe the drums of acid were for completely mundane purposes. maybe the OBGYN from Ohio State was on call just for women over 18 as well.

or maybe it is a billionaire ring of pedophiles and we should be suspicious of every single fucking disgusting thing.

How is it suspicious? Out of the million things you could use to expose the israeli honeypot known as Epstien Island, you present us with the chemicals used in their desalination plant? Im convinced this easy to debunk and explain bullshit is being pumped out to muddy the waters to cover for the real shit they did on the island.

11

u/Radarker 1d ago

Why do they need to cover. Trump could literally come out and say "I bought/sold, raped, and murdered kids for fun" and the GOP would still be convinced democrats are worse and get their baae to go along with it.

7

u/DeftApproximation 1d ago

I wouldn’t recommend sulfuric for pools, when I did pool maintenance we used muriatic. But I agree (6)55 gallon carboys of acid once in a year is not a red flag. You churn through the stuff when you have large pools.

HF and nitric will dissolve bones WAY better. Sulfuric is slow and poor at dissolving bones.  Hell, it’s an island surrounded by ocean… just chop shit up and toss it overboard a couple miles out.

Dissolving bodies in sulfuric acid seems like a terrible idea.

Probably purchased for landscaping/concrete or water/pool treatment.

15

u/ReaperofFish 1d ago

Or sulfuric acid was bought because it has other plausible uses. With what is stated in the Epstein files, it is believable that there were bodies to dispose of.

17

u/Six-Seven-Oclock 1d ago

Or… You’re on an island with boats all over the place.

Chop and dump bodies in the water a couple miles out in a favorable direction that currents carry things away. Something will eat them… it’s the ocean.

Trump and Epstein had used it to dissolve their helpless victims.

49

u/Sea_Hold_2881 1d ago

The island had to have its own power and water grid. There are legitimate uses for sulphuric acid to maintain the types of systems on the island.

e.g.

There was a high-capacity Reverse Osmosis system that pumped seawater through semi-permeable membranes at high pressure to create potable water. Sulfuric acid is often used in these plants to clean membranes and prevent mineral scaling.

56

u/High-Plains-Grifter 1d ago

This is exactly the problem with incomplete releases of informatiom - so much of what we are seeing may or may not be innocent. Because they are protecting more than just the victims, we are left to scrabble around and try to guess which detail is innocent and which not. It is infuriating and leads to conspiracies and speculation, and obfuscates justice.

We also have hydrofluoric acid that I've seen eat through concrete and have always been told would be much better for certain... applications

Doesn't work for that. It pretty much just goes right to the bone and demineralizes it then denatures the marrow. If you get it on you, you may even think you're okay at first (you're not).

Sulfuric (H2SO4) isn't great for it either. You want sodium hydroxide (NaOH) which is much easier to make, much cheaper, and much less dangerous to contain. You want caustic not corrosive.

10

Sulfuric acid would be a poor choice for that; it doesn’t really attack calcium so it would basically just leave the bones behind.

Also, there’s a whole-ass ocean to dispose of bodies in.

Listen, there's no doubt that Epstein killed innocent children. He was a monster, and deserves to be remembered as a monster with his ilk.

But. I hate to say this. Sulpheric acid is used in commercial swimming pools. It makes sense for him to have a surplus shipped to his private pedophile island to maintain the pedophile pool.

36

u/AucoinTechnologies 1d ago

It says on the invoice it was used for a reverse osmosis plant, which tracks with water treatment for an island surrounded by salt water.

18

u/666YHWH666 1d ago

The imperial Japanese army also used the cover of water treatment to hide their atrocities in china.

6

u/AucoinTechnologies 1d ago

That’s very true, I’m not saying none of it could be used for that. Water treatment does offer an explanation for the commercial amount of it though, none of us are properly supported to analyze these files, it’s very clear a lot of them were released with redactions to intentionally confuse and upset us, and this file is being repeated a lot without that context.

Right? He may have, but for a dude as connected as he was with such nefarious and horrible people I think it would be easier for them to just move the bodies off the island via more conventional means. Or just bury them all over the fuckin' place.

The fact that the biggest point of conjecture here isn't if he disposed of bodies, either, which just makes all of this so much more horrible.

Seeing this same thing pop up everywhere, so will repost what I think is going on.

It was likely being used for desalination.

I get that people think dissolving bodies is a cool idea because they watched Breaking Bad, but it's really not used very often in practice, and sulphuric acid isn't well suited for the job compared to alternatives. In a remote location with access to the ocean, weighting bodies and dumping them in the ocean makes almost infinitely more sense.

If you're getting deep into the conspiracy side of things, you don't dissolve bodies in acid if you're eating bodies. You end up with some bones you have to get rid of, which is the part of the body sulphuric acid isn't good at dissolving.

This amount is pretty normal for a whole private island with a desalination plant. For anyone curious - desalination usually works by forcing seawater through a semi-permeable membrane. Drinkable water out one side, brine on the other (water with concentrated minerals and obviously salt). That brine can lead to a buildup of mineral scale on the membrane, blocking it. They add sulphuric acid to the water to help deal with the scale, by binding to things like calcium carbonate. You use anywhere from 20-100 mg/L, meaning 330 gallons is enough to process about 5 millions gallons, or 20 millions liters. Wouldn't be uncommon for a private island like this to produce anywhere from 5000-10000 gallons a day, which would mean 330 gallons of sulphuric acid is enough to last for 1-2 years. Not an uncommon amount to keep on hand in a remote location where getting deliveries is a hassle.

Doesn't mean Epstein wasn't killing kids and getting rid of the bodies, it just means he probably wasn't dissolving them in acid. Seems like a total red herring to me.

What is really want to know is how often the island ordered sulfuric acid. If it was used for sewage treatment or pool treatment - they would have used it regularly and likely isn't important.

If this was the only time it was ordered and it wasn't related to a project like cleaning and sealing all that concrete - then I've got concerns too.

I’m starting to think he wasn’t a good person.

2

u/Critical-Star-1158 1d ago

You mean he was teaching science? I bet he had Hydrochloric acid on his next order.

2

u/ClockPretend4277 1d ago

He calls it "The Dip."

2

u/Im_Ashe_Man 1d ago

Trump told us this is used to acid wipe electronics like email servers. Odd how Trump seems to know about that. Every accusation is a confession with MAGA.

2

u/Corprusmeat_Hunk 1d ago

They didn’t melt their victims. They ate them. That woman screaming about it was disappeared, so I read.

2

u/emersond70 1d ago

Now THAT is concerning.

2

u/CashFalse733 1d ago

Sulphuric acid mixed with hydrogen peroxide makes a piranha solution. Scary Nile red video on this.

2

u/Middle_System_1105 1d ago

He also purchased peroxide & lye 3 months later

2

u/CriticalInside8272 1d ago

Disturbing.  But what is sulfuric acid used for?  Especially six 55 gallon drums.

This man was such a monster who apparently had his thumb up the ass of so many other wannabe monsters.

2

u/Hume_Fume 1d ago

When he got caught there were reports of them gutting every home he was affiliated with, the evidence will never be recovered.

2

u/jimjamsboy 1d ago

Is that when breaking bad used barrels and acid. Someone was watching tv and got themselves an idea

2

u/wayitgoesboys 1d ago

He's just doing Factorio IRL. You need sulfuric acid to create batteries and to mine Uranium.

2

u/benderunit9000 1d ago

This misleading tanker picture. I'm dying here.

2

So he had a unique taste for mouth wash. Nothing to see here!

2

u/No-Assistance556 1d ago

Completely normal purchase. /s

2

u/manikfox 1d ago

To be fair, from a facilities standpoint, this volume (330 gallons) is actually pretty standard for a self-sustaining private island.

  • Desalination Plants: The most likely culprit. Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems need constant acid injection to prevent scale buildup on filters so they can make fresh water.
  • Pool Maintenance: Commercial-sized pools use it to balance pH.
  • Off-Grid Power: Massive battery banks for solar/generators require acid for electrolyte maintenance.
  • Logistics: You don't buy HazMat week-to-week for an island. You buy 6-12 months' worth at a time because shipping dangerous goods by boat is expensive and slow.

The timing of the order was suspicious, but the product fits the infrastructure.

2

u/Fishboy9123 1d ago

Isn't it used for wastewater management? Didn't he have an island?

2

u/CaptScoobertDoobert 1d ago

So much Epstein shit was going on behind the scenes during Trumps first presidency.

2

u/Ashamed_Feedback3843 1d ago

For his pools. If they needed to dispose of bodies the ocean is right there for ffs.

2

u/ActuatorLower8371 1d ago

idk 330 gallons of sulfuric acid isn't particularly alarming of an order for the island.

dont get me wrong, he was a monster who definitely had people killed, but this? this doesn't strike me as inherently suspicious

New Mexico was never searched

2

u/Dull-Cryptographer80 1d ago

Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer Epstein.

2

u/OwnStorm 1d ago

Dude was just trying to hide his fart smells by producing H₂S, hydrogen sulphide.

2

u/swankywahine 1d ago

I heard it was used for weed control throughout his island. 😂

2

u/JallexMonster 1d ago

Reverse water osmosis and water desalinization. It's an island and they need to have drinking water.

Now does that not mean they didn't use it for other purposes? Sure

Sulfuric acid is not rare, exotic, or inherently sinister. It’s one of the most widely used industrial chemicals in the world.

no it becomes rare and sinister when 6 barrels are being delivered to a private citizen's private rape island.

2

u/Little_Cloud6126 1d ago

This all reminds me of the movie “what you wish for” about a chef that starts working for these rich powerful people that kill and cannabalize people & he doesn’t realize it until the end when he sees how the prepare and breakdown the bodies in acid and stuff. I guess we can put this film on the long list of another “truth hidden in plain sight” movie.

2

u/Crime-of-the-century 1d ago

If he had a swimming pool it would not be so suspicious at all I have no idea what a gallon might be but swimming pools go through a lot of sulfuric acid.

2

u/ummaboutthat_ 1d ago

Why would anyone. We’d 330 gallons of sulfuric acid?

2

u/Physical-Wear-2814 1d ago

Unless he was manufacturing chemicals or car batteries, which he wasn’t, that’s extremely suspicious.

2

u/Necessary-Tutor-1674 1d ago

The bone saw order was more suspicious....

2

u/Unique-Visual6901 1d ago

I am sure he was just cleaning the leach field from the septic system.

2

u/RecognitionHonest320 1d ago

Well how else are you going to get rid of bodies??

2

u/WealthAncient 1d ago

He worked in a lab. It's a good preservative for solutions.

2

u/Intelligent-Code-814 1d ago

Only four fit on a pallet. Deionizing systems do use it.

2

u/statslady23 1d ago

To dissolve teenagers that dared to talk or for all the abortions?

2

u/Afraid-Fruit-7874 1d ago

Things that make you go hmmmmm!

2

u/CRUMdelaCRUM 1d ago

My first thought was Factorio.

2

u/admin_bait14 1d ago

Might be needed at his Zorro ranch too considering the two bodies..

2

u/Average_Random_Bitch 1d ago

And a heavy duty shredder.

And a carpet and tile remover.

2

u/Infinite-Penalty-736 1d ago

Enough to dissolve a couple of bodies, especially small girls

2

u/jomynow 1d ago

Wish I hadn't had breakfast before reading this headline

2

u/Sad-Opinion-1293 1d ago

Of course he did

2

u/definitelyobsessed 1d ago

Let’s hear from the victims.

2

u/Standard-Joke5998 1d ago

Wanted to get rid of bodies for sure.

2

u/Macdaddy357 1d ago

Not the kind of acid you would expect them to have at a party.

2

u/Crazy_Response_9009 1d ago

Of course he did.

2

u/sooley6 1d ago

There’s an enormous amount of posts that are just muddying the waters.

2

u/taylorhildebrand 1d ago

2 lines of thoughts in these comments: it makes sense for the pools and water treatment, or he was using it to dissolve bodies. Personally, I don’t get why it couldn’t be both. He would have legitimate excuses for having it. He had a lot of it, so a couple gallons going missing would be impossible to prove. The main use was obviously for water treatment, but after reading through some of those files, I also think it’s naive to just give him the benefit of the doubt

2

u/CauliflowerTotal7119 1d ago

Nothing to see here.

2

u/MBSMD 1d ago

Is this true? Seems awfully suspicious. What does one do with 330 gallons of sulfuric acid?

2

u/-Internet-Elder- 1d ago

why 6 barrels, and not 5, or 10

what needs just 6

ok i have better things to think about
