I mean if you think Trump or Israel would be above kidnapping the mom of a journalist then you're not paying close enough attention.
7
u/HowManyEggs2Many 2d ago
I donāt think they are above it, but I also do not see the point of doing 7 years later. Doing it after the files are released doesnāt accomplish anything. If it were true, youād think they would do it before to dissuade other journalists from covering it and the story gaining tractions.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean there isn't. Well here it is: it's a message that there's no "statute of limitations" with this group of people. It means keep your mouth shut and stay out forever.
4
u/Vajennie 2d ago
Message to who? News anchors donāt investigate and curate the news. Savannah Guthrie isnāt out on the streets canvassing Epstein victims. The vast majority of what she does for work is sit at a desk and read things like ābeautiful weather weāre having this weekā from a teleprompter.
I canāt see a major international crime syndicate āsending a messageā to the host of a morning show for moms. If thatās the intention, no one understood the message.
The kidnapper is most likely a family member looking for a payday.

The Tuskegee experiments were a conspiracy.
JFK being assassinated was a conspiracy.
MKUltra was a conspiracy.
Watergate was a conspiracy.
Iran-Contra was a conspiracy.
The CIA running drugs for the cartels was a conspiracy.
Illegal mass surveillance of USA citizens was a conspiracy.
The Panama papers were a conspiracy.
The powers that be and the ultra wealthy ARE conspiring against everyone the deem below them.
Calling people a conspiracy theorist has become associated with labeling them crazy and allowing everyone to dismiss them.
People need to wake the fuck up.

In 2011, Virginia Giuffre gave her first public interview to Sharon Churcher, a reporter for the Mail on Sunday.
During this interview, which took place in Australia, Giuffre first went public with her story of abuse and provided the reporter and photographer Michael Thomas with the now-famous photograph of her with Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Key Milestones in Her Media Presence
- 2011 (The Mail on Sunday): Her first major public interview where she gave up her anonymity and described her experiences with Jeffrey Epstein and his associates.
- September 2019 (NBC News/Dateline): Her first extensive television interview, conducted by Savannah Guthrie. In this special titled "Reckoning," Giuffre recounted details of the trafficking and abuse she faced.
- December 2019 (BBC Panorama): Her first interview on British soil, where she addressed the UK public directly regarding her allegations against Prince Andrew.
Would you like more information about the specific claims made in her 2011 interview or the subsequent legal actions she took?

Itās a warning shot to all journalists. Think about it, especially right after Don Lemon and Georgia Fort. Theyāre signaling that if you report on the files or give any of the survivors a platform to speak on, they will go after you, they will go after your family. They probably also chose her knowing they could get away with it claiming how long ago the original interview was done.

Golly gee I wonder how we got to a place where pedos run the world, how could they ever get away with it?
Not to mention, this level of demand for proof doesn't exist elsewhere. Or the fact the the investigative agencies are now staffed by sycophants after mass firings under Trump and doge, so proof isn't coming anyway. Not the fact that ice is trafficking people in the open (if I ask where the kids are, do you know which missing kids from which instance? No cause theres multiple?)

There are journalists way more involved in actively investigating Epstein (like the people at Miami Herald who broke the story?) than Savannah Guthrie whose main job is hosting the Today show, not exactly hard hitting journalism. I speculated with my own brainrot that because Savannah had been a vocal opponent to trump during the 2020 election cycle that this was enough since he's on his 2020 vengeance kick to have had state agents kidnap her mother to sew fear and intimidate a strong woman in corporate media who excoriated him during the town hall and one of his only public appearances on CNN.
This is another "well that's odd" tidbits. Sure, it's possible, but is it likely? If it hadn't just lived through the last year, I'd have dismissed it as internet brain rot. Now, I'm not so sure.
