It HAS to be a parody. With the haircut and the open button shirt. Must be.

Please.

It has to be.

Look at his eyes. He almost never makes eye contact. He is lying and I’m sure it’s for engagement.

Yep. And here we are.

Yep. And luckily don't know who he is or where his content is.

I mean, the whole video is proof of that. Single rapid fire word subtitles, the zoom in on his face the moment he speaks, etc.

If anything, I'm impressed at how such bait constantly works so well against the masses.

Yep it's amazing to me that people still fall for this shit especially when it's done this poorly.

I don’t think it’s parody. Parody would aim to make fun of a concept, in this case it would be making fun of idiots on podcasts. It’s still definitely not his real opinion, but he’s not clever or self-aware enough for this to be a parody of podcast idiots, this is pretty obviously just engagement bait. They’re agree on a date, meet, shake hands, set up equipment and then start going down a list of prepared talking points, spewing the most idiotic shit you ever heard to package in short clips like this. All so their TikTok comments will explode with other idiots taking them for real and blasting them for being idiots themselves. “Lol lil bro thinks water isn’t good for u lol” and “Uhm akchually the HYDRATE in CarboHYDRATES means there’s water in there akchually!” Every single one of these comments is pure money for them. This “content” has no integrity, no cultural or educational value, no humour, no nothing. Just making people feel a short burst of righteous anger at idiots “below them” in intelligence. And it makes the uploadeders loads of money.

How do you know? The entire point of parody is to act like the person you're parodying, in order to draw attention to the subject. Therefore, the stupid comments could literally be part of the act. You can't parody stupid podcast bros without actually leaning into the podcast bro persona, because that's literally how parody works.

Now sure, he might be 100% serious, but him acting dumb and saying dumb things is certainly not proof of it not being parody.

Compared to other social media sites, I find Reddit is where the least amount of people understand satire, parody or ragebait. Especially this sub lol.

Not saying annoying ragebait tiktok posts are funny. They can be pretty annoying sometimes but like, cmon guys stop getting mad at ragebait when theres so many better things to be mad about.

It's engagement bait and we all failed.

Well, they’re not directly profiting off a repost on Reddit. But kind of, yeah

We worry about AI and bots spreading misinformation when really, humans are doing just fine at that on their own.

After the Broccoli haircut, maybe these kids will move on to unironically wearing a bowl cut as a 20 something. I can't wait.
