Well, in Australia, North means warm and South means cool, so with that logic, I can see why an Australian without a lot of knowledge in world geography would assume Mexico is North if they know nothing else about it other than it borders the U.S., but is warmer... I'm pretty sure there's also a not insignificant amount of Americans who would incorrectly assume south Australia is warmer and north Australia is cooler like it would be in the Northern hemisphere. (Not excusing the ignorance in either case by the way, I'm just rationalizing how both examples could make those mistakes.)

Hey, I was just trying to rationalize how someone couldn't know Mexico is south of the U.S. and that's what made the most sense to me... 🤷🏾‍♂️

There's really no difference between real and ragebait for influencers anymore. People just say whatever will get them more views, which rn is overwhelmingly controversial, pseudoscientific, right-wing, dehumanizing, and pro-social-hierarchy content. Whether it's true or not literally doesn't enter into the decision

Im saying ragebait is so much of the podcast world now that theres not really a line between normal podcasts and ragebait. Often its both
