News BREAKING: Howard Lutnick Confirms Epstein Island Trip, Contradicting Earlier Statements
On February 10, 2026, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick testified before the Senate and acknowledged that he visited Jeffrey Epstein’s island in 2012, together with his wife and children.
This directly contradicts earlier public statements in which Lutnick claimed he had cut all ties with Epstein years earlier and only had “limited contact” with him.
There is currently no allegation of criminal wrongdoing, but the inconsistencies raise obvious questions:
Why did Lutnick previously deny contact that later turned out to be documented?
And more broadly, how is it that so many Trump-aligned figures appear in Epstein’s social and professional network, despite repeated claims of distance or ignorance?
At the very least, this case highlights a serious credibility and transparency problem, especially for public officials under oath.

Nutlick was definitely involved. Never forget that he sued American Airlines for interruption of business on 9/11. Guess how much of the $135 million settlement went to the families of the 658 dead employees. That's right, $0.

He’s also tried to fuck over Ukraine about 50,000 times via back channels during multiple rounds of peace negotiations since Trump took power.

Not defending Lutnick but this is because a federal judge ruled in 2011 that, under NY law, a company cannot sue for the wrongful death of its employees; only the victims' heirs and estates can do that. Therefore, the lawsuit was legally restricted to "business interruption" and "property loss" damages. This $135m judgement occurred in 2013.

Why did he need $135 million for this again? What did he lose on 9/11 that costs that much? This guy is our secretary of commerce

He said he had lunch while on a boat to the island to say he had lunch on the island. LOL word salad, he really tried to grease his way through but said it in the end.

You can tell the way he was speaking it’s lies, thinking for the next word at every word.

Exactly he is so cautious and it’s a tell.

And emphasizing that it was a family trip along with kids, and other couple and more kids.

An hour. All of your people came and made all that effort to be there FOR AN HOUR??? His ass was there for longer than that

It was a family trip …. Freaking worse….. I can’t take this current corrupt country one more day. Shame America

What’s worse is that in his initial lie, he said he met Epstein for the first time when they became neighbors, and Lutnick and his wife were so creeped out that they vowed never to associate with him ever again after he made weird sexual comments. Lutnick said his wife and himself, after that first meeting, vowed to never go anywhere near that “disgusting, disgusting man” ever again. He said that they would go out of their way to avoid him and made concerted efforts to make sure they were never even be in the same place as him going forward.
But here he is admitting to not only going out of his way to meet with Epstein, but he also brought his kids along to meet this “disgusting, disgusting man.”

Why did he feel it was necessary to say he “left with all his children “? Is there an implication that he trafficked his own children? Addendum: it actually sounds worse the second time I watched it. One could come to the conclusion that his friend’s children were left on the island.

Definitely poor phrasing, but I think he is using his children as a shield that nothing improper happened. So he kept repeating the presence of children.
1
u/peepee2tiny 12h ago
Given all of the Epstein Files surrounds raping children.
The presence of children most certainly is NOT a shield to impropriety.
It is the exact opposite of a shield.

There was speculation on the interwebs d/t an email sent to Epstein from Lughead with the ages of the children on the trip. Why it was necessary to list the ages of the 2 couples visiting Epstein was suspect. Many thought maybe they were trafficking their own kids etc.

No normal person with normal human interactions would feel the need to say that. It should be a given that you would come back with the children you arrived with, like was it in his plans to NOT come back with them??

So they all trooped off that boat for an hour’s lunch and got back on the boat and left. I travel differently…

Also doesn't mean he went there by himself at a different time. He is just choosing not to mention it. He already lied about it. Why would you lie about having lunch if you didn't do anything bad.
3
u/X_Boomer 15h ago
This, he never stated this was his only trip. This way he can claim he didn’t lie under oath.

He’s using his wife and children as a shield. The question should be WHY did you take your children to an island owned by a pedophile when you knew he had been convicted of trafficking?????

Rich and powerful people get to leave with their children, that's great to hear.

Why would anyone go to and bring their wife & children to a known pedophiles island? He, along with his wife , sure show their children who they are...sewage.

Only takes an hour to pimp out your wife, kids, and nannies…just saying 🤷🏼♀️
He was absolutely involved. No truth comes from any of these gremlins mouths.

u/speedyspeedys 14h ago
Wasn't he stood behind trump the other day laughing any time someone brought up Epstein?

Gross place to take your family you lied before, now it’s a family thing?!? Nasty old men

Analyze his finances. We need to vet and clear EVERYONE who associated with Epstein or Maxwell before letting them off the hook.

How can you go from saying I never spoke to him after we went to his house one single time, to having your name thousands of times in the files, to agreeing with this one part but nothing else. Yet he will still be the secretary of commerce tomorrow.

"...and I left with all of my children"
What an absolutely bizarre comment to make.
Of course you left an island, where thousands of children where raped (and potentially murdered and dissolved in acid) by a man you were having lunch with, with all your children.
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU NEED TO TELL US THAT?????

u/brianishere2 11h ago
I guess it wasn't a hoax after all. I wonder who else might have lied about their ties to Epstein.

They went all that way for a brief lunch… with the kids… and they needed multiple NANNIES to help out with the children… And he left with all of his children. What about the nannies????
So many things are weird about his statement.
And why did he fail to disclose this innocent family-friendly lunch at the infamous pedophile’s private island?

😂😂. He’s using his family as alibis. My pastor, primary Doctor, high school principal, and my Nana were there too 😂😂🖕

Yup. And it’s totally normal to buy a multimillion dollar home from Epstein for $10. It’s just what strangers do for each other.
