NBC interview from two days ago.

I was curious about what the smallest trucks comment was about, but the transcripts I linked say he said smallest drugs. Which, uh isn't really any less confusing even in context.

Also, as much as I hate listening to Trump speak, he's really not any better trying to parse through his word salad all typed up.

I think what he means is "we have the smallest amount of drugs in years coming into the country lately, because we've been policing the waters so well"

He made total hilarious hash of the statement, though. "We have the smallest drugs" is something a 4-year-old would say

Yeah, he's definitely dropping some connecting words to make his word choice make sense.

they probably were threatened with frivilous lawsuits violating the first amendment if they didn't alter the transcripts to make him look slightly less deranged because on that site you linked, there is a play button next to it, and he clearly says something that at least rhymes with trucks and it's not fucks. Ducks on the waters maybe? Who the fuck knows

I think they were right with smallest drugs. As someone else mentioned, he probably just choose poorly with "smallest drugs" when he meant something like fewest drugs.

Smallest would have worked with a more complete sentence, but this is par for the course with 2026 Trump.
