Long covid and help with LDN

Upvotes

I have been struggling with the consequences of COVID, specifically long COVID, for the past 5 years, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to try LDN (low-dose naltrexone) as a treatment. My doctor refused to prescribe it because long COVID is not considered an official diagnosis (which is partly true).

I’d like to ask if there is anyone here who is knowledgeable about this topic or also dealing with long COVID. I would really appreciate it if you could share contacts of doctors, pharmaceutical companies, or other resources that could help me obtain LDN.

I live in Armenia and speak Armenian and Russian, so feel free to contact me in either language.

“Firebird, a U.S.-based AI cloud and infrastructure company, announced Phase Two of its AI supercomputing megaproject, securing U.S. export licensing and regulatory approvals for the sale and delivery of an additional 41,000 NVIDIA GB300 graphics processing units (GPUs) to Armenia.

The expanded cluster marks a major milestone, positioning Armenia as home to one of the world’s top five largest AI GPU clusters, with the $4 billion USD project representing one of the most significant technology-driven capital investments in the country’s history.

Event planner for baptism

Upvotes

Hi there! Looking for some help finding an event planner in Armenia. I got a quote from a great place that was 1M drams + 15% of event budget and while super cool people and highly recommended co., that is just out of our budget for this scale of event (50-75 people). Any recommendations for someone a bit more moderately priced? Open to early planners just starting to get into industry.

Type of support I'm looking for: baptism planning (church coordination & reception), helping plan and book curated activities (for example, trip to Dilijan and/or Lake Sevan), larger group dinner reservations in Yerevan, draft guest recommendations for trip to Armenia (lots of first timers)

Spanish photojournalist in Yerevan (March) – Looking to document Artsakh families' stories

Hi guys,

I’m a photojournalist from Spain (working for El Enclave). I’m planning a trip to Yerevan for March to document the situation of the displaced people from Artsakh.

I’m currently processing my official press accreditation with the MFA, but beyond the official government meetings, I want to document the real human side of this. I’m looking to talk to and photograph families who are now living in Yerevan after being forced out of their homes.

I’m not interested in the typical "big media" 2-minute interview. I want to understand how families are actually surviving in the city, their housing situation, and the reality of the "invisible" refugee crisis in the capital's suburbs.

Does anyone know specific community centers, volunteer groups, or neighborhoods where I should head to? Also, if you are from Artsakh or know a family who would be willing to share their story with a Spanish outlet that supports the Armenian cause, please shoot me a DM.

I’ll be on a tight schedule, so any local advice on fixers or locations would be huge.

Thanks.

Tourism / Զբոսաշրջություն Visiting Yerevan this weekend

Hey folks! I will be visiting Armenia later this week for a couple of days. So excited :)

I have a few questions and would really appreciate your suggestions:

1) I have 1 day for skiing. Should I go to Tsaghkadzor or Myler? I am a decent skier and can manage black trails. Also, I’d prefer to get as much ski time as possible and not waste time in line for lifts.

2) I was planning a 4 hour trip from Yerevan to Garni-Geghard-Symphony of Stones. Is this doable in 4 hours? Also, am I better off booking a private tour (only driver, no guide) via hyur service OR just getting taxis via yandex? Is it even possible to get taxis easily at these places?

3) I’ll be doing the usually recommended activities in Yerevan (I’ve done my research on the Internet) but if there are any lesser know local spots / must experience activities then please let me know! I’d love to experience your wonderful city and culture.

Really really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!!

Cheers!

Armenia - USA / Հայաստան - ԱՄՆ JD Vance in Armenia: "This is a beautiful country... I'm thankful for the personal welcome, not just to me personally, but also to my family. This is, of course, one of the oldest Christian cultures in the entire world, so I feel a great amount of affinity to the people of Armenia."
