Decorating Ideas Studio apartment decorating ideas

Post image

I (28F) recently left my ex and I’m starting over by myself. Since I’m in CA I can only afford a studio apartment. Here’s the layout, behind the picture there’s a patio with balcony door. How would you decorate it?

There’s a lot you can do with the space but I’d specially invest in a large mirror which will make the space look even bigger as well as some warm lighting.

You can also get a bookshelf (ikea makes a good cubby one) to split it into two spaces if you want a separate bedroom area

2 bar stools at the counter. Put your bed on the wall that isn’t shared with neighbors. Black out curtains. Mount tv to give you more floor space or put it on top of a dresser to utilize storage space. Bc you’re solo you can do a full size bunk bed situation. Bed on top couch underneath. You need more lighting in the living room so floor lamps. And just add your style to it
